Laughing Obsidian is the best worst suggestion ever... I actually also like the idea of a Disc renamed Dinnerbone playing backwards, and I'm loving the idea of the Sad Nether. Eggs should stack to 18 though... I actually like the idea of an Eye of Ender Helmet (maybe just call it an Ender Helmet) that you can craft with an Eye of Ender and maybe some Copper ingots (give Copper something else to be craftable). It could be an armor piece that offers minimal protection and will lose durability fairly quickly as you walk around, but it will have the effect that your field of vision will go dark if you are facing the wrong direction to get to the nearest Stronghold and will get lighter and lighter until you face the correct direction. It will also change your vision to that of an Enderman as another balancing drawback. I think that this could be the start of other "Copper Armor" pieces that require other items to have unique abilities but are otherwise disposable to temporary effects.

An actual good suggestion I have: They should have a bat swarm event. When entering a dark cave, you could have the chance to find 10-15 bats or so on the ceiling. If you're too loud they'll all wake up and start flying around. They wouldn't be hostile but it would just be a cool event that could occur while exploring. I think this would be much more interesting than just occasionally finding a singlular bat in darker caves.
