We had some fun in the sand dunes of atlantis Cape Town . Another great fun day by toyota.i did not compete in my own truck but was co pilot in another .

Lovely trucks. Very rare to find so much sport trucks on the spot. Maybe if I can afford a lexus motor I would like it. At this moment I don't. I prefer a 3.0i cressida or land cruiser v8

where im from thats not rare , we get together a lot in the dunes and there are still loads of hilux trucks like this left . unfortunately the land cruiser v8 diesel pick up is to heavy for the sand where we ride 2.3 tons vs the hilux 1.6 tons and lexus 1uz makes more power cheaply and reliable

haha awesome video loved it im 24 but i never find any of these modern off road vehicles interesting because every thing is electronic & computer reads every single move don't get me wrong it's just to easy there's no challenge but when you see the old pickups or cruisers naw these are the proper off road monsters again great video also i know u couldn't record your pickup :) which is fine cuz because you can't drive & record at the same time so yeah i understand lol some people say im crazy but I'll try my best to modify my 2wd pickup until it's unstoppable :) people don't understand that's the whole fun

What have these guys done to their 22r’s? They sound so amazing, My old man has one, doesn’t sound anything like this

Most likely swapped with a different engine. We (in SA where it was filmed) mostly had 4Y engines in the hiluxes. The 1UZ was a popular engine conversion back when they were dirt cheap.
