I was spraying silicone on the window tracks routine maintenance. The straw fell off and fell down the track now it's interfering with the window going up and down 15 minute maintenance is now an hour and a half of window removal and track cleaning to extract the straw

Amazing how often he has a new customer. At this rate you're not going to have any time to do anything else except for work. Good work brings a good reputation which brings more work and success

Man I've done a lot of these and different makes, and your not kidding when you say wear gloves the edges are always sharp, lt's a lot of fun changing out window regulators!

That top left hole of the 4 hole motor section mount looks like it is keyed. You can put that bolt mostly in and slide the regulator in the hole and have it partially held in place as you install the remaining bollts. Nice forethought by the design engineers. Toyotas seems to have problems with these more often than necessary. My old American cars, all bought used, never had problems with windows or locks. Legendary Toyota quality?

I have a problem with me 2004 Toyota sequoia I dont have a door key when I purchased this truck it only came with 1 key and a remote! Well I left my keys outside after walking my dog it has been raining here in Indiana on and off my key fob got wet I replaced the battery and it still doenst work I have had the remote checked and it's the transmitter. My problem lies with getting into my truck the anti-theft is activated I've used everyone to try and get into my truck no success PLEASE HELP

I have a 2008 Avalon with a sealed transmission, 167,000 miles I’m assuming the transmission fluid has never been changed. Should I change it? I’ve heard that this can cause big trouble.

Would heat shrink tubing be an acceptable repair for the red wire?

Great job, you're a patient man. I think there would be some merit in placing some wide masking tape over the whole glass before starting the work. Just my 2 cents.

I usually run a piece of tape across the top of the door to hold the glass in place

Did you try to find a used window mechanism? I would think that if you bought new that it would come with the motor installed - if it was available.

I’d hate to put that back together.

Door windows seems to be a weak point on the Camry. I own 2 Camry and had door window and door handle problems on both.

I have had to replace several Toyota window regulators, this must be a common issue. Not hard to do just time-consuming.

I don't c the repair, this is the 3rd video?
