I just saw today on a you tube program that some people are starting to have transmission problems with some of the 24 Tacoma. One guy only had 50 miles on his truck. The new motto for so many companies has become hurry up and get it out the door.

I hate controlling everything from a touch screen. Give me big buttons and knobs. It seems like working these big screens is no different than playing on your phone while driving. Screens go out, then you lose control of everything.

When they started “limiting engine power” with the computer they realized they can make parts weak and cheaper. These are drive to “Home Depot” trucks from Toyota and many other manufacturers. My 2024 Jeep Wrangler can take a beating off road in the roughest trails in AZ and Moab. The difference is unbelievable…

About bringing the function of multiple buttons, knobs and other similar things inside a touchscreen - different rating Safety agencies around the world warned that will lower the safety rating of such vehicles because bringing that functionality solely inside a touchscreen distracts the driver from watching the road and traffic. It's not about somebody likes the touchscreen or somebody doesn't, it's about driver being distracted.

Agree. if I have to go into the infotainment screen to access a feature I will be eyes off the road to do it. Buttons and knobs I will be eyes on the road the whole time.

I think the next class action suit against Toyota will be 12v battery discharging issue in Hybrids. There is something wrong and to fix it a super expansive inverter needs to be replaced, There are some people reported that the 12v battery in their hybrid died after a long trip. I checked my 12v battery after driving for a hour expecting it to be fully charge but it was discharged - only around 12v. And this is on a brand new vehicle not even 6 month old. So now it is on trickle charger all the time.

I told a friend back when the toyota CEO gave himself a 46% raise that their new trucks were going to be junk and have alot of problems. Now look what's happening to tundra, tacoma, etc.. Everytime a company/CEO turns to greed their vehicles go to crap, never fails.

@@SamkoWorkShop That's what I have heard is that the Jimmy has more options but I wasn't sure. Back in 05 I had a used Colorado that had like 82 thousand miles on it when I got it and it was good for my 1st 2 years and then it started having motor and tranny problems and the same thing happened with 2 different Silverados that I had. You know what really is a bad look? Selling someone a $37-44,000 car, then refusing to fix something minor, like coolant bypass valve. That's terrible customer service at best.

Why buy a ev of any kind? Here in NC mountains if you buy ev they charge you extra 200.00 on tag renewal because you don't buy gas, thus not paying gas tax. Duh huh.

Said it in many videos. Look up the fuel injector recall, 10 speed Trans class action suits, 2.7 and 3.5 early issues and how ford handled it.

@SamkoWorkShop The early 2.7s didn't have issues. The 1st 3.5s did have small issues. Never had any Ford vehicles come in for injector issues. I left the automotive industry before I got to much experience with the 10speed. ****just looked it up, I also left before the injector recall***

@@1FiftyOverlandcheck out 2.7 tear down videos you tuber I do cars 2018 Ford went to a “RUBBER” belt inside the engine to drive the oil pump 👎👎 A recipe for catastrophic engine failure !!!! That’s definitely the # “1” reason To disregard F-150’s

Power wagon is not a full size. It's a 3/4 ton HD. Different class

@ryanhermary7251 correct. And I love it. But it's classified as an HD truck. So my systement that the zr2 silverado is the only full size with front lockers was legit. The power wagon is one of my all time favorite trucks. It's amazing.

I don’t understand this complaint about the GM seats. Roman at TFL complained about them too. I have a ‘23 GMC Duramax and the seats are completely fine. I use it to take 5,000-mile road trips and drive 600-mile days and I don’t have a problem with the seats.
