The 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid is the mid spec Corolla Cross here in the Philippines, while the 2022 Honda HRV V Turbo is also the mid-spec trim for the Honda HR-V here in the Philippines. In this Filipino car review, we put the two popular Japanese Crossovers together, 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross V hybrid and the 2022 Honda HRV V Turbo, in a comparison video. With the help of ‪@officialrealryan‬ we get to check out the similarities and differences between these two subcompact crossovers. The 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid may be older by two years over the 2023 Honda HR-V V Turbo, but it can still hold its own in this comparo. The 2022 Honda HR-V Turbo may not be a hybrid, but it provides a more engaging driving experience and more space than its rival. We don't get the 2023 Honda HRV hybrid here in the Philippines, so don't ask for it anymore. Can anyone confirm the Philippines specs have this? In Malaysia HRV is missing some of these features like blind spot monitoring on the wing mirrors and 360 cameras while the CC has them. The blind spot monitoring is vital in SEA road traffics as we have lotsa bikes on the road. Toyota’s engine and suspension systems are more reliable thou..

I'm driving a 2016 Honda HRV since. This video caught my interest in Toyota Cross Hybrid, way to go in 2022 onward! Until.. the footbrake was mentioned. Was it mentioned in the comparison that the Cross doesn't have "Brakehold"? Yes.. in my review. Wooo, electronic brake, and brakehold had been around, I cannot imagine I will be driving in the city without these two switches within my fingers' reach. I guess I will have to hold on my 6 year old HRV wc I think can level up with these 2 new models, sans those "sensing" features. I will save money on not upgrading now, agree? 😄✌️

The price of the corolla cross hybrid is 1.6M not 1.7M. The 1.7M is the cross GR-S variant

Is the power figure of the corolla cross that low compared to the HRV? It has an electric motor also, so when both motor and engine run together in an uphill climb, their power and torque add up. Additionally, which of the two seats is more comfortable during a drive? Does both have a lumbar support?

the hr-v may not be as fuel efficient as the corolla cross hybrid. but, when it comes to design/materials. the design of hr-v's interior and exterior trumps the corolla cross. plus, the hr-v does come in hybrid in other markets. hopefully it'll be available in your market soon.

You should compare the Toyota Corolla Cross with Honda HRV RS e:HEV. Hybrid should compare with another Hybrid.

How about the cost of hybrid battery, 600,000 pesos. Resale value of cross is low. After 10 yrs ur battery in cross os de, graded, parang cellphone. I still choose ice hrv.

Given that I only consume around 70K of fuel per year (10K+ kms), opting for the C.cross would only mean fuel savings of around 30K per year or 300K in 10 years. For those running more than 20K kms per year, better ang C.cross. But for my case, I think I am better off with the Hrv. With the bonus of better exterior and interior looks, and that turbo engine. 😁

@@boyjoeven8995 napapaabot ko ng 30.1km/L yung hrv 2019 ko highway at 60-80Kph alalay sa gas wag puro vtec yung iba kasi puro full trottle kaya tumatakaw . Nasa gumagamit din . Yung toyota kung anu yung comsuption nya yun nayun . Sa honda nasa driver kung titipid o hindi .

If fuel cost savings, you need at least 150k km on the HRV to break even the price difference of the Cross. By that mileage you may also be replacing the Cross batteries, which until now Toyota ang Vloggers are not talking about.

@@alvingonzales3510 battery cost around 10,000$-16,000$ usd yung base price 25,250$ battery lang yun! kumporme pa sa bansang pagkukuhan. Ee mas maganda pa klase ang battery ng tesla dyan ee yan hindi man ni rivieal anung brand yung battery .. yung sa tesla gumagamit sila panasonic yung sa nissan kicks aesc battery yan anu gamit nyan 🤔kung hybrid hanap mo for me much better yung pioneer nasa Hybrid category. nissan since 2010.. kumbaga yung trial and error dina ganun kapangit ang impact sa costumer.. 😏

i want to ask you how do you safe 1000 liter petrol a year ? 1000 liter a year comes down to 2.74 liter every single day that means you safe petrol for 41 km every day how many km every single day you drive that you can safe up 41 km ? Lets not forget this is every day of the year you safe 2.74 liter (41km) are you driving every day the whole day or what ?

The price provided for the Corolla Cross is the GR-S variant, not the regular V Hybrid which is what Ryan mentioned. Also, not much has been covered per category.
