Another fantastic video. I'm hooked on your channel. I watch a lot of Toyota/Lexus content and yours is some of my favorite. You really include a ton of content in each video. You could have broken this video up into several videos. From a viewer standpoint, it keeps me hooked until the end.

You got an EXCELLENT deal!! FJ’s around me in Southeast VA are going for $20k +++ even needing this work you had to do that’s a great deal imo! Love the FJ!! God bless~ Edit: PS I did that drain hose reroute on my 2021 4Runner TRD ORP last summer when you posted the video of you doing it on your 4Runner. Or whenever that video was posted anyways 😂

Great video! It’s rough, good deal, don’t get much anymore for 13K if the power train checks out. I was going to buy one, but they have been out too long, too old, bought a new ORP. Ya’ll get a lot of rust up there.

Funny , first time a saw that FJ ac drain hose i had a wtf moment and I thought someone had cut it ! I did something similar to you as soon as possible . Now that I know they came like that I’m mind blown that they came factory dripping on the frame ! I’ve had a FJ going on 5 years now and love it . I think it’s simplistic and rugged . Ultra reliable . But that ac drain hose is really out of character lol .

Always great content. Never over produced and genuine. That said, I have always wanted to like the FJ. I know it is capable…. I just can never get past that it looks like an anime cartoon truck to me. Not my cup o’ tea. My 4runner though….sigh

Love these videos where you briefly explain the part you are replacing showing a before and after. And 13k is a great price. I’d buy that in that condition in a heartbeat. Any plans for the front seats? New upholstery or seat covers?

Awesome FJ MAN! The wheel Bearing not being OEM, you think it will last as long as OEM one did? Our 13 RDX needs a rear wheel bearing and thinking of what reputable aftermarket brands might work..

I actually went with that one on a recommendation, a buddy of mine as had those in the front for 60k (zero) issues. If it only last me 60k I really didn’t spend much.

I am located down the street from you in Maryland and all the ones I have looked at have rust issues underneath, extremely high miles or they are just ridicoulsy priced!!!!! I have actually started turning my attention to the Lexus gx470s instead.

I wanted to ask you a question that I keep forgetting to ask. On the 4runner limited they have an option for an electric retracting and extending running board. Is the limited pre wired for that option. Does it have a harness underneath with a plug. If not how is it electrically connected. Thanks in advance.

To answer your question Sir… very simple. NO. If yours didn’t come with it, then it’s not pre-wired for them. Different harness. It’s absolutely in no way shape or form something you want to pursue. Too expensive, entirely too much work, way too many parts to replace. Besides being overpriced, those things develop issues after a few years. Don’t bother.

I don't think you did too bad on the FJ I myself just picked up a 1 owner 09 Lexus GX470 with 141 K on the clock for slightly more at 15,5.

I had the same thing happen to me with my 2006 scion XB. Home made filter out of a furnace filter when I replaced it after buying the car. Cheaper if you make your own ya know…….🙄🔫
