Let's see if Toyota down plays this problem. Pay to have the tundra engines replaced but never admit to any wrongdoing

So having worked as a toyota tech for 11 years at least in my region we've known the cause of the engine issues since atleast december. Toyota discovered the issue after the first week of engine production amd corrected it on that end, the delay is engineers figuring out how to fix it without sacrifice a weeks worth if engine production.

Oh I heard about this Metal bits left inside the engine I think? Meaning all engines should be REPLACED. If they don't BUT the bearings take on a lot of wear EVEN if they run okay NOW they WONT 100K miles down the road. They will have no oil pressure at idle with excessive bearing wear. I had this issue on old GMC, I replaced the oil pump myself with high volume pump got pressure up to 30 psi at idle. Saved engine, Used Mellings high volume . Toyota will have thousands of engines going bad later in their life. 80 K or more. Well OUT of warranty. Toyota will resist engine replacement Millions in cost . Cleaning out engine is to LATE. IF Biden goes OUT. The EPA average will be lowered. Lets hope. My understanding some of the new EPA start 2027. YES gas cars way up $$$ to make up losses from EV's. Ford lost huge on EV.
