Excellent video. How long will the LED lights last compared to the original halogen bulbs?

Thank you for your interest! Longevity varies depending on use, however, on average, I would say that the LEDs would last 4-5 years. We back all of our products with a 1 year warranty.

quite informative, I would like you to do the same modification on 2016 model so I could easily relate because I have noticed this model year is a bit different than mine. secondly I really want to change my fog lamps halogen bulb to xenon or like some LEDs board. my headlights have an LED strip and xenon head lamps. It doesn't look right. please help and guide me on what should I do.

Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, your 2016 Rav4 uses the H16 bulb type, which is a very new light. We do not carry this bulb just yet. However, I would recommend contacting us in a month or so to see if we have updated our inventory.

I recently got a RAV4 was clueless as to why Toyota didn’t put trunk lights but ofc I didn’t see the burnt out bulb

Any difference in doing the 2017 Rav4 interior? It has a completely different design of the map light.

The 2017 Rav4 should be very similar to as shown in the video. Most of our installation knowledge is gained through trial and error. If you like, you can email us a photo of your overhead map light, and I can see if we are able to make a recommendation to access the halogen bulb. You can reach us at help@precisionled.com.

aminour sam, open the hatch and there are some plastic covers that you pop out with a screw driver. careful not to mar the plastic. that exposes the lights and it’s self explanatory after that.

Hi PrecisionLED, I am trying to replace a stop light on the driver side of my 2013 Toyota RAV4. I had unscrewed the two crew but did not how to take of the whole lamb. Could you help please?

Unfortunately, we do not sell, or recommend replacing your brake lights, as they would hyper flash when stopping.

Hi! The license plate lights are T10 bulbs which you can find here: precisionled.com/t10-canbus-5-smd-led.html The reverse lights you can find here: precisionled.com/toyota-rav4-led-backup-reverse-lights-2006-2012.html The low beams and high beams would both use a 9005 which you can find here: precisionled.com/toyota-rav4-premium-led-headlight-package-2013-2015.html

How many inches is the limit on those bulbs?

I bought a 1.180 inches leds for the license plate light but it didn’t fit. Too tall to close the it in place. Is 0.98 inch t10 led good?

Hi! Yes this would work on any 4th Gen Rav4, which includes the 2016 model. The installation process would be almost identical. Hope that helps!

Yes, although the video was shot on a 2013, this installation is for the 4th gen Rav4, which includes the 2016 model. The installation process should be virtually identical.

There are different types of sockets. It depends on which bulb type you will be using. There are festoon, wedge and circular socket which is a ba9s style. I hope this answers your question.

2016 is a little different in how you remove the bulbs. Its a bit more difficult.

The installation process for the 2011 should be virtually identical as shown in this video. The only major difference would be physically locating your halogen bulb.

i don't know why you using those tools which is more likely the same as using of any kind of flat end shape metals or just a flat screw driver.i can even just use a fork and will have the same result.your tools for removing those cliped covers are just for show.

Notice he is using plastic on Plastic, sure a metal pick or screw driver will get the job done, but it will scratch and damage the plastic ☹️

Yes, we are definitely not just using the tools for show. In our experience, metal tools can damage the plastic, which is why we include the complimentary tool kit with each lighting package!
