I had the overlays for a few weeks and just couldn't get past some of the details. I ended up ordering the black replacement badges for the sides and removing the one on the tailgate. I'm much happier with the OEM black badging. Thank you for the other mods.

Thanks for sharing your perspective on the overlay badges 👍👍. I agree that the oem black badges are probably the best looking option available. Thanks for your input! 😁

When I was driving for Uber I used eucalyptus oil, just a drop in the air vent. It works! Apple pie would have given me more 5 star ratings though lol

Cabin looking good. Any plans to do a chrome delete on the interior?
@LevelUpMechanics3 жыл бұрын
Eventually. I have so many parts / upgrades sitting around at the house, waiting to be installed... but yeah, eventually I will make a "part 2" of this video which should include some chrome-delete items 😁

As far as the car seat is concerned, it is a Graco Atlas 65 2 in 1 Harness Booster Seat. It sits up a little straighter and isn't as bulky as other options out there. 👍👍

Just curious, what car seat are you using? I also have a five year old and the car seat we have is a bit bulky.

It's really dumb that I focused in on this particular thing, but -- why would you need a seatbelt cutter on a knife?
@LevelUpMechanics3 жыл бұрын
Lol it does sound a little redundant... obviously you could cut a seat belt with a blade. But, let's say (for example) you roll the Tacoma and you break an arm and you're stuck. Rather than trying to cut your seat belt with one good arm (where the blade could slip on the seat belt while trying to cut it), you could just use the seat belt cutter (which allows you to have a good grip on the handle without the risk of a blade slipping and possibly cutting yourself in the process). I guess to put a long story short, it's good to have options. Luck favors the prepared lol 😆.

@@LevelUpMechanics A very good point! And I should have started by saying I enjoyed the video, I use several of these products myself and they work just as described.

Hey, did you buy an off road valence? Or plastidipped it?
@LevelUpMechanics3 жыл бұрын
I am the 2nd owner of this Tacoma and the front bumper / valance was black when I purchased the truck. I always thought it was odd, since TRD Sport valances are supposed to be painted-to-match, but I actually like the flat black on the front bumper and the painted fender flares.
