@@eazy1174 I have a 1st gen 4Runner, 1st gen Tacoma, and a 2nd gen Tacoma. I would never own a 3rd gen Tacoma of any year. I think 2015 was the last year of good Toyota trucks.

Toyota's are decent but their fan boys are the most annoying and delusional. All i hear is Toyota's are so reliable and good off road yet ive pulled more out and towed them back to civilization more on my old ford and jeep more than anything. I had a group of Toyota's telling me nothing will make it through a hole but a toyota. My old 78 jeep Cherokee on 38s walked right through few minutes later i had to pull one out 4wd quit working and another snapped a axle lol. They are good little trucks for driving around on and some mild off road but they don't hold up too the tough stuff. This summer on a mild sawtooth lake trail there were all kinds of vehicles come down only one didn't make it back and broke. A brand new forerunner trd pro the front end literally fell apart.

Not true at all. We have a 5.7 V8 in our 2011 sequoia limited and I have a 4.0 V6. Both those powertrains have been so reliable

I have had a 2020 2021 and 2023 Tacoma all brand new from the dealer and every single one had an issue at some point. And yes you are right the V8 is decent but the new tundras are dogs bud. I do like Toyotas bro so don’t get it twisted I have just personally had a bad experience that past few years. And my Toyota dealers in California love to pass the blame do everything but try and help you out. I do plan on buying the new 2024 Tacoma TRD off-road will see how that new 4 banger turbo is treats me.
