So I had always planned on running 37+ tires, but this shits expensive as fuk! So had to wait, then my friend gives me a brand new 38" #milestarpatagonia and I had no choice, had to buy 3 more and I have 4 used spares, so 38s it was!! My truck 🛻 is the only Solid Axle Swap Tacoma on Long Island, Really, and everyone around here thinks I'm nuts! Not a common vehicle around here, I love my truck 🛻 She's my one and only, daily driver, Harley Davidson Hauler etc And I have a Hybrid Front Axle, it's a Dana 30HP fully sleeved 1/2" thick with Dana 44 outers from a full size Chevy K10 D44 with Warn Premium Locking hubs, Lunch Box Locker and Dutchman Chromo axle shafts with OX u joints, so I have Chevy k10 Front Brakes, she'll do a Endo 😆 You can also find me on Instagram @frankrubicon_ Would love to see your Tacoma, I'm a convert from the Jeep world, but I ain't going back! @itzzgraham TY brother 🙏 This is on the 35x12.5x16s milestar Patagonia tires MT01s , now she's on 38x13.5x17s next is 40s and 1 tons! Look threw the other videos, last trip (No Trailer Ever!) to Rausch Creek PA offroad park, I ended up with the big rigs! The small group was a 4dr JK Wrangler from Hell and a Custom fully exo caged Ranger with a 4BT Diesel swap and both running full long travel coilovers, 42+ tires, and a decent TJ Wrangler (George) I was in over my head as usual, not that she's not really capable, but they have Trailers and 100,000$ plus tow rigs, I'm in my 1 and only daily driver! But she hung all day and drove me home, no problem! My front axle is a Dana 30HP with Oldschool Dana 44 outers, from a old full size jeep, or in (Same thing) case 1985 Chevy k10 pickup, it's fully sleeved 1/2 inch thick, locker, Custom cromo Dutchman Axle shafts, OX U Joints, it's the most overbuilt D3044HP in the galaxy! But she's getting fully built Axles front and back from a 2003 F350 V10 4x4, Dana 60hp front axle and Sterling Rear, she gonna gain around 1000 pounds! But with the light minitruck body and the heavy Axles she'll be awesome stable! Can't wait, soon as we get the house we've been hunting for, Axles are getting fully built, she's already a little beast, then she'll be a monster! I'm running a YOTAMASTERS steering box with PSC 8" Hydraulic Ram assist, Ruff Stuff 3/4 Heim Joint steering links, YOTAMASTERS said their setup ( I originally had a trail gear 6" Ram ) is way better than the trail gear steering box, they said they were having some problems with the trail gear box , and she's my daily driver/harley davidson hauler/offroader, the S.A.Swap wasn't cheap but well worth it, any questions, please let me know, the SAS was a mission but she drives great! I love my truck 🛻

I always say "Better late than never" 😆 And I don't really sleep, TY brother, after building and owning so many Jeeps, and after every yoyo in the world buying one, that and Jeep just doesn't make a real dependable quality pickup truck , combined with the fact that I've wanted a Solid Axle Toyota pickup truck since the early 80s and they haven't made a S.A. pickup in the US since 85 , I finally had to pull the dream trigger and actually build the solid axle Toyota of my dreams! And besides that it's really not cheap to build a S.A.Swap Toyota Tacoma, I have no regrets, I live in Long Island NY aka Hell and besides me , I've only found 1 other S.A.Swap Toyota, so unlike every time we look up and see a jeep, my truck 🛻 really is a one of a kind! And She does everything she's supposed to do, she's my daily driver and motorcycle hauler and weekend offroader, I've already got a few haters cause I put a jeep axle under a Toyota, but fuk em! And She makes me want to drive! I love my little truck 🛻 and it drives awesome! And please check out the other videos of her offroad, she was unstoppable! My friend is being super picky about buying a used Rubicon, we've looked at a few already, Last one was a Modern Warfare edition, kinda what he wants, but had some issues, long story, but now he's looking out west, 90210 D , he said he'd fly us out there, so you never know, might end up in Cali soon, he's serious and picky, really wants a fancy pants jeep, got cash 💸 please keep your eyes open for me

I don't think it's possible to use a rack and pinion with a solid axle? And if it is I think it would be a little Convoluted of a way to go, I have a YOTAMASTERS steering box tapped for a hydraulic ram assist, with a 8" PSC Ram assist, wherever you do , call YOTAMASTERS, Austin helped me with everything, they only know Toyota, make sure you don't get the Trail Gear steering box, YOTAMASTERS said they had problems with them, so they make their own, definitely call YOTAMASTERS, tell them Frank Rubicon/Filippone sent you, and make sure you use a ram assist, I had a 6" ram from YOTAMASTERS but ended up going with a PSC cause we had it and I needed a 8" ram , which you'll have to look into it? But I think you'll need at least a 8" ram? I'm running a hybrid Full Size Jeep/Chevy k10 dana 30/44 fully sleeved with Dutchman Chromo axle shafts and soon OX u joints , but working on swapping to tons, eventually, but for now she's locked and ready to rock 🪨 She's also my daily driver, I'm in her right now, I drive my S.A.Swap Tacoma every day, drives great! Best thing I've done to my truck 🛻 IFS sucks!

2003 Toyota Tacoma S.A.Swap, the whole thing will not be cheap, roughly with truck and labor, parts, you'll be looking around $20-30,000 US Depending on options and if you can do the Solid Axle Swap yourself? But to do it right, it's just not cheap
