Toyota Tundra Destroyed by Softball Hail!!

6 жыл бұрынBlue Moose in the biggest hail I have ever encountered while hunting storms. And the amount of hail was also crazy. You can hear it in my voice that I'm frustrated being in that situation. Mostly for our safety, equipment can be replaced. After this we actually still ended up hunting other storms, but at a reduced capacity. It turns out even as damaged as the windshield was it was pretty safe for driving. Video was shot by Debra Kruger from Australia. Thanks for keeping calm and getting some awesome footage.

In the future: safety goggles for everyone in the vehicle, every time. Small cuts from flying glass are unlikely to be a significant problem anywhere else on your body, except for your eyes.

I couldn't agree more. That's why we have them in the truck. There is a pair for each person..They were put to good.use this day.

I know each thud was a cut to the heart. This is why I always suggest carrying thick blankets in the car so you can cover up to protect from flying glass. Terrifying

Yes we did. There were baseballs with the odd softball in there.

See this is why I dont live in the plains as this happens to them like daily every day but here in TN we dont get hail that big we usually just get pea size or nick;e sized hail as the storms dont get enough energy to make hail that big due to the mountains blocking them.

@@twistedbrotherchasing6971 them tundras are built good, I have a 2005 and it looks new inside, outside had fainted paint but repainted it, has like 405k miles, I want an 08 but just too much money lol
