No manual review? The base J seems to be the right choice, has everything which is essential for a decent and safe motoring experience and none of the fluff. Many years ago, as a desi in foreign country, I dutifully bought the cheapest Corolla, which had faced a decadeful of harsh ownership under 5 previous owners. I was the sixth, and assumed this would be a stop gap arrangement and I would use it till it falls apart. It already had 1,60,000 kms on the odometer when I bought it. Still, every single feature on it worked, not that it had many, but whatever was there worked. I drove it hard, and far, piling on the miles thinking that once it starts showing its age I will have the excuse to buy something new. I was iffy with the services, and just did quick Oil Changes at places like Valvoline Express. Never did it see the inside of a dealership for a "proper" service. My tenure in that country finally came to an end, but with the Odo nearing the 3,20,000kms Mark, the little 'rolla simply soldiered on. Now 15 years after it first rolled off the factory, it is still doing duty with a fellow desi whom I sold the car to. Not a squeak or rattle to show it. And for that reason alone, a back to the basics Toyota Sedan makes it to the top of my shopping list.

Have been with the Toyota Yaris for good 4 days. Never realised the front of the car's line looks like Thanos's helmet untill you pointed it out. It was worth the wait for this review.

Such a huge potential car, never lived to its true potential. If I compare today on 2023 December 01 the competition lags ridiculously with features as a result of cost cutting. Somehow I find the Yaris, as a lost in the jungle being late to the party when launched with a Toyota badge.

I like the fact that it offers 7 airbags as standard.🤨 Powered front seats, TPMS, etc are a bonus. The only thing missing according to me is the sunroof, which even the fortuner misses on. Why toyota?

Getting the review late is also add advantage, where other not covered about great profile description esp. on the Front grill comparison and details explanation on the center console display system, but on my personal feel the Script standard has been reduced a bit as compared with your previous videos

One point which Toyota seems to have got right is providing AT from base trim onwards with 7 airbags Just take a look at current Delhi ex-showroom prices of these 3 cars which offer AT (lowest possible variant) and that might be big deciding factor for many people. Yaris (J AT) - 9.95 lacs Verna (Ex AT) - 10.55 lacs City (V AT) - 11.72 lacs Obviously if we consider VFM factor, Verna is best followed by City

The transition that showed the different colours of the car was damn cool but I think the transition speed should be a bit slow so that you can differentiate between similar colours like white and silver!
