Thanks for this video! It helped me a lot! Had the hard time removing the harness thru the sensor and good thing you showed where the tab to press to remove it!!! You are awesome!

Good job, and while you are doing that job take the time to check the wheel cylinder pistons, i found the forward facing piston seized (and car passed NCT brake test a week before). A new spurious wheel cylinder was €26 inc vat. Small money to spend for effective brakes.

I gotta do this sometime this week.. the condition of the hub doesn't seem too bad in terms of rust and it being seized on. I have a plan if it is though.

@@IAMASPANNER I'm hoping that Allan Howatt's trick works with the two bolts putting load on the hub. Are those bolts holding the hub in 14mm?

Did that trick end up working? I've got to do this this week and am super worried I won't be able to get them off. I have a set of wrenches, a small hammer and a jack stand to my name, so hopefully that trick really works lol.

4 bolt patttern hub puller? may I ask what brand or company makes this? OTC makes one, but does not my yaris 😞

It’s at my friends garage, there’s every chance it could be tens of years old, I’ll find out when I next see him.

Is there any specific branded hub that was used or was it just an ebay one?

Premium part from local auto factors. I wouldn't suggest buying parts from eBay unless they're from a reputable supplier or can be identified as a decent brand.

My bolts are way harder to get off. I'm living in the rust belt.

This took some serious doing, I just couldn’t record it at the same time. Japanese cars rust like hell in the UK.
