I'd recommend to place the deco outside of that cabinet it would perform better. Were you able to use wifi6e with a pc/laptop? Regards!

is there any benefit for the simple usecase choosing this or a different brand? i need low latency for gaming, i have the 5 port version of this arriving later today

I haven't tested this but I doubt there would be a difference, unless one of the units from said brand would be defective.

Hi I just purchased the 55g deco mesh system. Everything hooked up fine. I turned router to bridge mode. ( xfinity router) and hooked up a switch to the xfinity router. I get nothing on the switch to connect. Tp link TLSG108. Any thoughts on why it wouldn't connect like that?

I would love your help if you don't mind I picked up this same switch and currently have 3GB speeds for my fiber and when running to my desktop it's not giving me my full speeds but yet my desktop is using a 10G ethernet port built onto my motherboard so i know it's good enough for it to give me full speeds but i don't get why i can't seem to get the full speeds. please help someone.

"The chain is only as strong as the weakest link." Without knowing what speeds you are achieving: Lets say you have a 3gbps internet connect, a 2.5 gigabit switch (like the one in this video) and a 10gbps Ethernet port on your computer. Because the switch is limited to 2.5gigabits per second, that will be your max throughput even though you have a 10gbps ethernet port on your computer - I hope this helps

where are you that gets 3gbps fiber internet speed? and if thats the case you need something that is faster than maximum 2.5 gbps like the one in this video

@@SystematicHardware Sure, copy that I was just challenging the Tp claim that cat5e will give us the same 2.5 gbps as cat6 or cat6a I based my purchase on that claim as my studio is a 3 story 5e hardwired jungle

Because it's not just a router it's a modem/router. And most modem/routers are wireless enabled by default. So I guess that's what he wanted to go with. And most technicians would agree with being on the safe side. I'd like to have wireless capability in case I ever needed it for testing purposes, and for testing purposes it doesn't matter if it's in a metal box
