Track While Scan (TWS): Another RAW?

Those familiar, there was a project some time ago on Kickstarter called RAW, which was an open world do anything simulation game that failed... TWS looks ambitious, but is it too much ambition? I do a quick dive into their website...

A big thing for me is they have no idea how the game is actually going to work. That's fine if you're in pre-production and still working out what your game is going to be, but a game that early in pre-production should not be releasing trailers and teasers. To me this signals that the team is either incompetent or lying.

That's a valid concern. I'm also concerned that they anticipate some kind of closed alpha within the next few months, but cannot answer how. I'm thinking a follow-up might be needed, as I've attempted to gain access to their discord to no avail, as well as submitted questions to their email which have, as of right now, have gone unanswered- but I did receive a reply from their "CEO."

@@Ronin13196 Yeah, their handling of their discord server errodes even more faith in the project. I couldn't get back it simply because a mod wasn't monitoring the chat and I was told by those who had been let in that my "good questions" were deleted with everyone else's.

It's an obvious scam there's no way even an AAA gaming companies would not be able to pull this feat off.

It’s not, they have a KZfaq channel called Track While Scan and you can see the progression through your the game

It´s doable but dont expect anything serious in the next 3 years and afterwards it woud still need another 8 years to get somewhere near their vision here.

If the developers really deliver everything that the official page of the simulator is offering, I won't think twice about buying it!

Their moderator chat was accidentally opened and people took screenshots of the messages in there, Ali was calling people who said negative things about the game "loser dcs fanboys" I called the game a scam in the discord and was banned within 1 second. They really dont want the truth coming out.

Why would you be cautious about a scam? Obviously if it is a scam you avoid it. If it is POTENTIALLY a scam you be cautious

They keep stressing that everything that is purchasable is optional, and I asked them on their discord, and you can get it all for free when the game is released
