Today's video is on the conspiracies of Tractor Supply Layer Feed Part 2.
The rumors are if you feed your hens feed from these big corporations like Tractor Supply. Your chickens egg production will drop.
Buying from the local Farm was just hurting my pockets. I still continue to support the local farm. But when money is tight, I have to turn to the Big Box Stores. I decided to do my own study on layer feed. My goal was to put these rumors to rest. My experiment took 6 months. I'm finally able to release the data. This is Part 2. I buy nutrena laying feed from a local feed store and it costs around 18$ I refuse to shop at tractor because their dei stuff and I was one person that had my hens stop laying as soon as I switched feed they started laying again

@@HandymanLand My father has Rhode island reds and his stopped laying when he picked up feed from tractor supply. I didnt ask him the brand.

my hens didn't eat the tractor supply brand so well and didn't lay quite e as well. that's all I know

when I had chickens I fed the producers brand from TSC and had extreme egg production

My egg production went up 20%, but only after i started adding banana leaves, coconut, banana and banana peel as supplement to their normal feed.

I have4, 7 week old chickens . I switched them to tsc nutrina starter and grower and then nutrina pellets when they are older. The bag says it helps the smell of their poop also

I had 3 eggs for dinner tonight. They were good, though, I expect, not not near as tasty as those 4 eggs you showed being prepared and cooked.

Not sure where you are located but I'm in Eastern North Carolina. My hens were laying great then switched to Tractor Supply Brand (Producer's Pride) and they almost stopped laying. I switched to a local farmerthat mills their feeds, about 2 weeks ago, t and my hens are already back to producing every day. I multiple others in the area that have experienced the same issue with Producer's Pride. Maybe it's a regional issue.

It is because it's all corn and no nutrition value. If you get layer feed from your local coop you will see a huge difference. I mix mine 50/50 and the eggs are much better
