I want to purchase this lock, but people complain that the combination is very hard to scroll through in the freezing cold. Have you experienced this issue?
@HandymanLand2 күн бұрын
I haven't experienced that problem. But I typically always keep the slide door closed. The only issue I have is my teenage kids who don't close the slide door. By keeping it close at all times, you prevent dust and bree and water freezing that can cause issues. If I ever experience issues , I will make a video to keep everyone updated. But as of now, all is good. Thank you for watching.

Thank you so much as a 74 yr old woman and an 82 yr old man this video helped tremendously. A number of years ago we watched another video from someone else and we were able to change the bulb at that time but we had since forgotten how to change the bulbs. My husband asked our son to come and change it but he works late and long hours and didn’t have time. Watching your video as we followed it I was able to remove the old bulbs and replace with new ones. Old hands don’t work as well as young ones but I got the job done thanks to you.👍👍👍👵🏻👴🫂🫂

What octane gas do you recomend to store for a generator?
@HandymanLand12 күн бұрын
Unleaded gasoline with an ethanol content of 10% or less. It's perfectly fine to use 85 to 91 octane fuels. The difference between them won't be noticeable. Thank you for watching.

I loved your clear video ( and the chickens!) I inherited this unit when I bought my house. It worked for a while but is now flashing E5 and I can't figure out what this means. Help?
@HandymanLand20 күн бұрын
E5 is the error code that the unit needs to be drained. There is too much water in the unit. In my unit, I point out where you can drain the unit. Once you drain the unit, it should go back to its normal working order. Hope I was able to help and thank you for watching.

Ive had this unit for a year. I turned it on when things started to get warm and had about a week of good usage before it's started to leak while running on cool, wondering if anyone has any tips on this.
@HandymanLand20 күн бұрын
Along with a dirty air filter, the drain hose of your air conditioner can be clogged with accumulated dirt, debris, or even mold. Hope this tip helps you troubleshoot the issue.Thank you for your help.
@dripgodbear20 күн бұрын
@@HandymanLand How would the drain hose get cleaned out? Is it safe to remove the back panneling of the AC for cleaning? Thank you for the tip!
@HandymanLand20 күн бұрын
@dripgodbear If the drain hose is dirty, you can let it sit in a bucket of twenty-five percent bleach and seventy-five percent water. Let it set for a few hours or until you're satisfied. Just be safe about it.Eye protection and gloves. And then run it under the spit or outside water hose. As for the back cover, I've haven't needed to do it.So i'm not sure how to do it. But i'm pretty sure it's just clips and screws holding it.

Hi , great videov , very informative . I live in the UK and it's amazing how you have a great big oil burner to heat your water for so many years . Then you changed to a smaller electrical water heater . It just shows how much technology has improved and you can reduce the size and scale of the heating units with technology that's at hand these days . I have only a cold water tank and an old water stainless steel tank for hot water with an electric heating element fitted at the top . I was going to remove both tanks and with one of these water heaters that you fitted . Looks a great job that you've done . I wondered if you fit a electric surge protector unit in the electric feed cable to stop any problems with electric surging in the future and protect your new water heater . Thanks you . 👍
