Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I've aways enjoyed messing around with tractors and adding little accessories to help take care of any project. I have also made a few more additions since I did this video if you'd like to check them out. Also getting ready to make a few more and I will post those videos in the coming weeks. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Having watched way too many tractor accessory videos, this is one where there is actually something unique, both from a this is super simple, to this is more difficult but awesome (the 4 wheel drive indicator). Great job on the video.

Really enjoy your videos and all of the great ideas. Lesson I have learned is to keep your cell phone on your person at all times. One day I put my grapple on blocks, reached over to unlock the right pin on quick connect, and the loader arms came down. Unfortunately my right foot was under loader and when it fell pinned my foot to the ground. Because I had my cell phone in my pants pocket I was able to call for help. Scared me and was not hurt, sure glad my wife answered the phone in the house.😁
@backyardcountrylivin151411 ай бұрын
Hi Kevin, that’s a great point about having your phone on your person at all times. Glad to hear you weren’t hurt. I know sometimes I forget the dangers of using tractors and equipment. I have had a few close calls, always seems to happen when I get in a hurry. Thanks for the positive comments and thanks for checking out the video.

I enjoy the video. I am looking forward to purchasing the same size tractor. I like the Summit tractor because of the MSL., which I didn’t see on any other brand but Kobota.

That size tractor works very well for a lot of tasks. The MSL is a nice option that I wish mine had. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting.

Something I notice while driving my friend Kubota with similar exhaust configuration under the engine is that I keep smelling the exhaust gas quite often while with the MF high exhaust I never notice the smell. Sometimes on the Kubota it gets a bit to much. I wish they would would be an exhaust mod to route it backwards, at least pass the rear axle. Great work, clean, and organized, they way I like it.
@backyardcountrylivin151411 ай бұрын
Yes, I agree on the exhaust. I notice it sometimes on the Kioti, but never on the MF with the top exhaust. Thanks for the positive feedback and congrats on hitting the 1k mark on subscribers.

So far on my CK3510, I made small tool box that sits on top of fuel tank, made bracket for ROP light to sit inside of ROPs, made 400lb rear ballast out of rail road iron, rear diff hold-down knob, made right side step, welded on, bucket hook, and lastly had to strengthen up front grill so wont bend so easy.... So far all my add-ons are using exiting bolt holes, only had to make couple small welds for right side step..... Next on list is add skid-plate, I change hydraulic filter for second time mid Nov, I notice a big dent in filter that looked like it was hit with baseball bat and I hardly ever go in woods....
@backyardcountrylivin15146 ай бұрын
A lot a great add ons you have there. The skid plate is a great idea. I saw one video where one of the hydraulic filters got punctured with a stick and all the fluid drained out. Then another where a guy was moving a dirt pile with the bucket and ended up slamming the oil pan down on a big rock and cracked it. I would love to see the plate installed if you happen to make a video of it. I subbed to your channel. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting. Happy New Year!
@job38four105 ай бұрын
@@backyardcountrylivin1514 I only have skid-plate on my L3400, it will becoming off next month for trans fluid change. This summer I'm hopping make skid plate for my CK3510, I did 200hr trans fluid change last Nov on it, I noticed the filter had baseball bat size dent in it, and I was very careful with tractor, I dont like filters getting dented.....

Nice walk around. I was curious to know if you added ballast to the tires? I've seen you do some grapple and fork work that looked a little questionable without ballast
@backyardcountrylivin151411 ай бұрын
Hey Allen, yes got rear tires loaded from dealer and then of course the additional weight from the box blade and the box under the rack full of bricks. I’m guessing in the neighborhood of 700 extra pounds of rear weight, not counting the weight from the loaded tires. Definitely need it to lift some of those heavier items you mentioned. Thanks for checking out the video.

D-ring came from MGE products (got it on eBay). Adjustable side link also got on eBay. Side link is always showing out of stock. Hi Paul, it is a 60" Construction Attachments Dual Cylinder Grapple. I can't even begin to tell you how much back breaking work we have done with it over the last 2 years. It is very well made and has performed like a champ. Here are a couple of links below: one the Construction Attachments website and another to a video I did going over the grapple and doing some work with it. There are also several other videos on my channel with it in action. The strap configuration you have to hold your PVC chain holder onto the tractor, where did you get those? my local hardware store has no idea how to get them. Are they online or do they have a specific name? Or, did you just make them?
@backyardcountrylivin151411 ай бұрын
They are called conduit hangers. Should be able to find them at Lowes, Home Depot or any electrical supply store. The ones I used are for 1/2" conduit. I did wrap the bar with some electrical tape to add some thickness and keep it from scratching the bar. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the video.

What’s up with no armrests. Does your right arm get tired if your doing loader work?
@backyardcountrylivin15143 ай бұрын
It definitely has armrests. Look around the 15:40 mark and you should be able to see them. They are wrapped with the same orange camo as the seat. Don’t think my arm would make it without them. Thanks for checking it out and commenting.
