I think she did great! Of course I was expecting Rose to stop her or mop the floor with her but I gave Tracy the last round. Tracy looked the strongest and landed the harder shots in the 5th round. I had the fight Rose 4 to Tracy 1. Tracy was preparing to fight Maverick who has turned out to be a disappointment. Rose wasn't on the radar for Tracy as Tracy had been fighting a lot lower competition. For Tracy it was two week notice fighting at high altitude against a fighter that lives and trains at high altitude in the same place they are fighting. Tracy was also fighting a two time former champ that is still in her prime. Rose KO'd hall of famer Joanna and then beat her again. Rose KO'd the current champ Weili and later beat her again. Plus Tracy's toe was a balloon! Good showing by Tracy hopefully her cut heals up and she can make it to Noche UFC.

Rose had a full camp, at elevation and just a change in opponent to a lesser opponent. Cortez had to cut her camp short, she was not training for a fight at elevation, and she was taking a big step up in fighting a two time former champion that beat two of the greatest women champions in her division. Big difference.

Plus before the fight she stated multiple times the the elevation did not affect her and she got accustomed to it after her first day ther. Before the fight Tracy was saying that fighting 1 week earlier wouldn’t make a difference since she was in camp already immediately after losing cuts her prep time from the true 3 weeks to now saying 2 weeks while being un prepared?? She using the excuse of not being prepared instead of being honest that there are levels to mma ufc especially and rose was clearly multiple levels above Tracy and even with a full camp “1 week longer” the result would be the same if not a stoppage with rose only having 3 weeks to switch her game plan from a well rounded barber to tracy

@@Pclub4ever I don’t think Rose was ever tired, she’s never been one to fade - I think she just let off the gas in rounds 3-5 for whatever reason. Tracy obviously knew she had to get a finish in the 5th thus leading to her to be more assertive and aggressive - that same approach would’ve really benefited her in the previous rounds is the point. Just my opinion tho and I do believe Rose would’ve won regardless.

Tracy didn't just "decide" to be better than Rose. She was tentative in the first rounds because she got dropped and only started being more aggressive when Rose was fading and not putting as much power into her shots. Fighting is between two people, use your brain.

She really surprised me, especially with her cardio. It's not easy going five rounds while defending so many takedowns. Rose has so much experience and I think that made the difference. She knew when to steal the round and how to diffuse Cortez' ground game. Wonderful fight considering she had to replace someone in a main event.
