Tradescantia Nanouk Guide | Propagation & Care Tips

We stabilize & propagate our Nanouk, a variant of Tradescantia. First we show you how to prepare the plant, which places to cut. We allow the cuttings to root in water & learn the growth points. After eight days we transplant it in soil. Then we revisit it in 10 days. All four propagations have successfully grown. We also give tips on care for this plant. Enjoy!

This plant has a resemblance with the wandering dew, but this one is more gorgeous.

Guys, she said to water everyday but that's in her climate. If you're keeping your plant inside, you definitely don't want to water it everyday or you'll have root rot before you know it. I have a couple of these and I water mine about every five days or so. You have to go by your own environment because you may not have the same amount of light, humidity or heat in your home or outside for that matter. Yes if there is still space for the plant to grow.

I have been trying to find this plant, Tradescantia Nanouk, I love the pink and green variation. Do you know where I can fine one, or get clippings to start one?

Does this need full sun. ? I'm from. India. From a hot tropical area.

Hi, haven't tried if this plant can tolerate full sun. We place it in a shaded area.

I dont think it cam survive in the direct sunlight, i’m from jakarta -indonesia with a hot climate. I’ve tried put it in the direct sunlight, but some of the leaves burned & turned brown. I guess better to put it in partial shade
