I started playing Irish music at age 50 in a pub in Colorado. 🎻. The happiest of times. 😄 I'm Irish by birth but left when I was three. So going back when prices have calmed down.

It's not cheesy at all. It stirs my emotions too and in fact brings me to tears. I'm a guy by the way, who doesn't often cry, but this music makes me do so. I think I lived in Ireland in a past life. I went there last, flying from Brussels to Dublin and upon descening through the clouds over Wales, with the emeral Isle before us, I had a very strong sense I was coming home.

2024 goals. Im half Filipino, half Scottish, Irish, French, Welsh, Yugaslavian, and Croatian. Ive been wanting to save up and move to Ireland for a very long time. Today, on Sain Patrick's Day, i was told by my neighbor that she went and everyone is so nice. This makes me want to go see Scotland and Ireland so bad. Especially those castles! A dream!

In November 2017 I went on a short tour of Ireland with my mother; it was a long-cherished dream of ours that we have fulfilled 🙂 Unfortunately it was only a full 5 days, but we saw a lot, starting from Dublin around the island and back to Dublin 😆👍 My favorite experience was actually standing on top of the Cliffs of Moher! 😍 But I still haven't seen enough of Ireland and I hope I get to see it again! 🇮🇪 As for traditional Irish/Celtic music, I've been a big fan of it for a very long time, I just love it ❤

I remember the Cliffs of Moher as a special moment when we visited Ireland. That was when I said I'd love to hike around Ireland. I hope someday I can do that and enjoy the full extend of the beauty of the Emerald Isle.

I love this video and this music it's truly calls me in my heart. Only a very small percentage of me is Irish. But this music and video feels like it's calling me home. I love Irish music the country and even though I haven't met the people of Ireland yet. And I say yet because someday I'm going to make a trip there. I welcome the fact that I will be able to say hello to Irish people. I used to travel when I was younger. Some places just call out to one’s soul. I never got to Ireland although I spent a lot of time in England. There is just a timeless magic to some places which I can’t describe.

I'm not Irish---won't say what my various ancestors were, but one of them, at least, was a notorious liar, and a con man, among other things---but I find Ireland and Scotland to be seriously beautiful countries. I hate traveling, but those would be the two countries I'd happily go to if I was ever going to leave America for a short time. Such amazing beauty, what my brother called (quoting someone else), "A terrible beauty," and so incredibly green, yet rocky and rugged.
