I have a lot of respect for you because you’re young and you have chosen to work on “old school” hot rods!!!! Most young men today, fail to take interest in the old iron still out there. I believe you will understand when I say……”It’s a dying art, so thanks for carrying on the “torch”!!!!!

When you started breaking down that wishbone to clean it gave me Vietnam flashbacks lol reminded me of getting up early on weekends and instead of cartoons my step dad would hand me a strong brush, bucket of wd40/water mix and place me before anything that's rusted.

Great work on chop.i am working on a 31 5 window myself.after watching your chop ive decided to go with a 4 inch chop also .I'm keeping fenders on mine.need to locate fender braces and 1 running board splash apron.i also need driver side 1/4 window surround and garnish moulding.also rear window surround and garnish moulding.some rocket scientist cut mine out with an axe.cant fix stupid. Mine will be a flathead V8 .I like the quality of the kit u used .I will use the same.good price and great quality. The rear frame rails look great.ive been collecting the parts for 7 years I now have 95% of parts and motor rebuilt now.you are a great inspiration to me.god bless.

I'm building my first traditional rod now and learning a lot from your channel, I've obviously read it wrong somewhere but I thought you had to split the wishbone if your putting a flathead in ? Apologies if that's a stupid question, but I've never done anything like this before, love the channel.

What supports the body from the rear axle rearward?
@RACGARAGE
@RACGARAGE 2 жыл бұрын
Model a chassis ended at the rear crossmember anyway so stock there was. I thing supporting it. I think he’s going to put another wood block right before the kick up. There’s a cross piece on the subrails that doesn’t normally have a body mount. We could put one there.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?

Travis great job,,,, but safety Sally’s out of the closet,,,,You depends a lot on the chain and that overhead you ever pull a body up like that between the body in a frame throw a couple blocks of wood on the frame.... just in case and chain let’s go...I know it’s lam,, but if the car come’s down and break a finger breaking arm...... You’ll suffer every bad weather day with your break been there done,,,,,,,, that it ..... just don’t wanna see you get hurt.... I want to see the channel grow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I want to see you do some warrior wizard stuff take care junkman do
