The moon hangs high, the fire crackles and on this night the forest and fields stay silent, as if watching us. Most are sleeping in the tents, but I needed the fresh air. to those who say this is from AC4 great choice and I congratulate you for noticing however this song is much older. You will find if you listen to many other musicians such as "The Chieftains' or "savageminstrel" or even bards from well before this wonderful game you will notice this tune to be among those whom wish to remember the past. Those such as I that love this tune are glad to see this folklore song continue and evolved.

The song is obviously Scottish, composed in Scotland by Scots. It may be "well known" in Ireland but it isn't Irish.

You make this song sound sound way to dark and creepy. Its supposed to be a happy song to relax and get drunk. I love your voice, but i dont think this is a good song for that.
