Back home, my side hustle is a professional photography & videography with a focus on Weddings & Events.
However, I have been doing all the travel for my day job since late 2019, and it is my third year over in Japan.
Last year, I caught the end of the last wedding of the day at the Meiji Shrine. This year is dedicated a good part of a beautiful day, and managed to catch four different weddings.
After the 4th wedding, I think the actual Japanese photographers were catching on that I wasn’t some random tourist, so I called it a day.
If you want to catch Trafitional Japanese Wedding at Neiji Shrine, you will want to catch the Yamamoto (JY) along the Tokyo mainline (I prefer Shinagawa Station) and get off at the Harajuku station, which is a fashion district, and close to Yoyogi park, and a short walk down to Shibuya & Shinjuku districts.
