Ingredients :
Rice flour 3 measures or paav
Maida 100 grams or half measure or paav
Red chilli chikkaballpura 50 grams
Roasted Bengal grams powdered later 1 measure orpaav
Hot oil to mix in the flours - 200 ml
Grind Red chilli and Roasted Bengal gram into fine powder
Mix all the ingredients to chapati dough consistency.
and squeeze the chakkuli in to the oil pan

We have been taking food on a daily basis for the past 6 years from Ahalya Bai. Sweetest person one could come across. Not a single day one can complain about the food. Ensures there is a different dish everyday for breakfast. If you are staying in Malleshwaram, Subramanyanagar or Rajajinagar she'd be a good choice.

Lady seems so pious and sweet. God bless her. One curious thing is these days, traditional chakli and mucchore recipes are getting mixed up imho. Traditional chaklis are round in concentric circles. No khara typically. Mucchore is overlapping strands and are usually pressed directly into the oil while chaklis are pressed onto a sheet first and then dropped into the oil. All that said, I like spicy chaklis more than traditional bland ones with just salt, sesame, asafetida.
