A trick my son showed me for making white or cheese sauce lump free every time was to soften but not melt the butter or marg then combine with plain flour but preferably corn starch until you get a paste then add the milk and heat while stirring. The milk picks up the starch as the shortening melts. I’ve done it this way ever since he showed me and it works flawlessly every time. Love your videos! I watch David Chillcot on Onepotchefshow too, you both make excellent food and your videos are awesome and entertaining to watch. X

God I love those mac and cheese deluxe boxes but they've changed the cheese in them now. I used to love the can of plastic cheese that you just melt into the pasta! Now it's healthier probably but not as good! I've got high cholesterol now so have to settle for the instant continental one with soy milk and no real cheese!

I sure would like to know where you got that Kraft Cheddar Cheese from... somewhere in South Australia, I guess...? I sure can't find in anywhere in Sydney. According to Woolworths, it doesn't exist, and apart from Amazon or eBay, the only place I could find it on the net is a site called aussieproducts.com.au (whose phone numbers are US-based), priced at $8.95 for 250g! It would appear that this is actually a US site, aimed at the North American (US/Canada) market, and I'm not altogether sure that they can actually be trusted.
