I’m Korean American and from the Southeastern US. Basically, I’m pretty sure 70% of my cells are fried chicken. When I was a child, I lived on base in Korea and I remember our family would sometimes walk to local chicken shops like this one in the 90s and that was always a real treat. (Every time I go back we’ll sleep off the jet lag after eating some delivery chicken and pickled radish). There’s something nostalgic about that experience that echos a Korea that I knew as a child; one that honestly might have only existed in the rose-tinted glasses of a kid who didn’t know any better. You don’t see it walking past high rises and skyscrapers or past the loud bars in Itaewon, but rather when you walk down narrow roads behind those buildings and see an old woman walking up a hill hunched over like a tiny Korean babushka. It’s a period that’s gone and I guess I just think it’s something worth remembering.

치킨사실때 식용유 바로 해서 튀긴것보다 어느정도 튀긴후에 튀긴게 더 맛있어요 기름에 고소함이 배가되서...연구에서 나옴...기름은 중간정도 쓸때 튀김이 더맛있다고합니다

맞아요 기름이 어느정도 닭즙이빠져나와서 갈색이되야 치킨도 맛나답니다 그래서 60계치킨도 깨끗하고좋지만 처음튀기면 고소한향이 안나죠

Whenever I am in Korea the first thing in my head is market. I can't help but compared how this country's creativity awed in amazement than other Asian countries that I've been to. What often amazed me is how they cooked and treated food. The chicken itself is unbelievably crispy and tastier (drooling)

그냥치킨집 두번가서 사왔네요 치킨 맛있어요 서민갑부에도 나왔구요 갈때마다 3만원치 사와서 먹을만큼 1회용 비닐봉지에 넣어 냉동실에 냉동시겨서 먹을때마다 에어프라이기에 데히면 금방 튀긴것같이 바사삭합니다 이분들 음성장날에 음성 장터에서도 합니다.
