Traditional Tooloo Beef Recipe / Salted Beef Recipe / Ndudu by Fafa
Salted Beef also known as Tolo Beef is used in flavouring most dishes in Ghana. The original recipe is elusive and difficult to come by, however I have nailed it to perfection with this Tooloo Beef recipe.
This Tooloo Beef recipe has been trialled and tested multiple times, till I got the perfect taste. Enjoy another ‘Ndudu’ twisted dish😘
Find the full recipe, including the list of ingredients and measurements on my blog

I will have to do an ancestry test. When I do I'll let you know. Caribbean people can't really say exactly where in Africa our ancestors hail from.

Do we use it all once or we just use little portion as to Spice up our cookings, asking because of the salt

Sunrise Farmer I wonder if you don’t have to the cook in water to remove the salt ?i don’t think it’s good ,
@janetbrentum91
@janetbrentum91 2 жыл бұрын
Mostly little portion is used to spice up. And most people would soak it or cook the salt out a bit before cooking with it.

@NdudubyFafa
@NdudubyFafa 3 жыл бұрын
Provided you keep draining the liquid and top up the salt content if needed and must be refrigerated. The flavours will intensify preventing any bacterial growth ❤️❤️
@nisookh
@nisookh Жыл бұрын
Perfect . Yes refrigerated always ! The pink curing salts which contain nitrites and that inhibits bacterial growth , have you used that before for this process ? Again , thank you so much ❤❤❤❤

You can soak the meat in a strong brine solution for about 30 hours and it'll be perfect. You don't really need the one month duration
