Tom Petty and the heartbreakers were such a Cool Band to grow up listening to,Having to see Tom go away like He Did Was sad,to see Prince, Michael,Cornell,Winehouse,and so many others,Take the call to exit stage left is always hard!Seek help if u got to,gonna be hard,but look at the alternative!🤔

I worked with a guy named John in Gainesville who told me Tom played solo for free Heineken's at Johns bar in Gainesville before he got famous.

Being in college at UC Berkeley in the 1960s many of us did a ton of all kinds of drugs. So I well know about getting high. But not one of us in school there at that time ever stuck needles in ourselves. Why Tom or anyone else chooses to risk ending their life, knowing it happens easily using heroine seems nuts. Otherwise, he was clearly competent and intelligent .
