I haven't been able to get the song out of my head since the first news reports coming out of Bobcaygeon about the nursing home and that the Global Pandemic was up in the Kawarthas . One of the sanctuaries north of Toronto. A place that is serene and clean. Broke my heart to know that they weren't safe. The COVID-19 is a real disaster. Peace and love be with all the families who have been affected by this horrible situation. Thanks for playing this song everybody. ✌💞🎶🎸🌹🙏 KEH 🇨🇦

The people who know his guitar is horribly out of tune and he cannot carry a note. I love the hip and did not dislike the video, but one cannot deny it wasn’t a good rendition at all I respect those that liked it for what it is but also respect those who did not for what it is.

It was a "rewrite" to begin with. The song's inspiration happened in the town about 15 to 20 minutes east, Buckhorn. But Downie could not put together lyrics where Buckhorn fit in for rhyme. That's the legend. The whole area is full of towns that start with "B".

When I was getting my drivers licence changed because I moved there, the clerk at the MTO 90 minutes away from there couldn't find it in the database. I repeated it and verbally spelled it out 3 different ways, no luck. I asked her (very politely) to show me on note paper what she was entering on the key board: Bob Caygeon
