Joe Cronin and the Blazer front office are reportedly demanding at least two first round pick in the #NBADraft before entertaining any trades. Will anyone take them up on the offer?

Love how Joe Cronin has turned his image around! He was handed a pile of crap and has been tearing it all apart to build it back up. Love where we’re headed and glad Cronin will have a chance to build his version of the team.

You know we have the leg up on LA cause I’ve already seen smear articles saying we are asking for too much and should just accept scraps, just like the heat bs all last summer. We can tank with grant, mystery injuries at end of the season is now the blazers special.

Really wanted to see Grant and Ant moved this summer but money is tight under this new Collective agreement...With that said, Im glad Cronin is not budging. Moreover no matter what the roster we need to tank for this next draft is a monster one that is a game changer

Glad Joe's in a position to hold firm on Grant. Hopefully he don't trade Ant. Lakers got a top 3 second rounder next year. That's actually a very good pick if you think about it. Whats better, the 35th pick next year... or a first rounder in 29 or 31?

When we landed Grant, I was beyond excited. Once Lillard left, I felt we needed to trade Grant ASAP just because we'd be wasting his talent here during a rebuild. I hope he lands somewhere that's good for him. He's been a great player for us, sucks it didn't work out.

Everyone wants to see continued losing in the hope of landing Cooper Flagg. I get it, he'll be transformational for somebody. But - with the core we now have, if this core continues losing big time, what does that say? At some point, it's important that the talent assembled here learns to win.

No matter what... DENI AVDIJA is the starting PF forward. PERIOD. Make him a focal part of the offense. Scoot, Sharpe, Camara, Avdija, Ayton should be the starting lineup early on. CRONIN GET VALUE FOR GRANT AND ANT. This is a rebuild Joe. You finally admitted it in draft presser so stop playing around. Your job is to balance this roster and Grant and Ant take from the other 2 guards and Deni- WHO NEED TO BE STARTING. Deni needs time with the ball as point forward playing with Shae and Scoot.

One, the Lakers are willing to wait this out as well as Cronin is. Two, the Lakers are not going to be bad. They will be better than you folks think, with or without Grant.

No protections on the picks. The Lakers have no leverage and putting protections on virtually guaranteed lottery picks is stupid.

2029 and 2031 are not guaranteed to be lottery picks. Anthony Davis may very well be around still at that time, plus who knows who else.

What about Lakers receive: Jerami Grant, Jevon Carter and the bulls 2029 second round pick Blazers receive: Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic, their own first round pick back from the bulls, the bulls 2028 first round pick, the lakers 2029 First round pick Bulls receive: D’Angelo Russell Rui Hachimura and Robert Williams III

We don't need our FRP back from Chicago. The protections on that pick lapse LONG before we will be in the playoffs. Plus, we don't want Lonzo's albatross contract on our books, and Chicago won't move Vucevic, nor will Portland want him. Chicago and Portland both reject that deal.

@@kylewilson2819 a FRP is a FRP blazers should appreciate the draft capital. Lonzo is an expiring contract. Expiration contract, Nice for a team trying to free up cap space. Vucevic and Lonzo can be flipped for more assets. Blazers play the long game and acquire future assets. Bulls get off big money, get players that actually play, get younger, gets more flexible in roster assemblies. Get more tradeable and manageable contracts. Lakers go all in on Lebrons win now timeline without totally ransoming the future.

The Lakers can compete in the west without Jerami Grant . The Lakers will just move on to the next target. Jerami Grant and his horrible contract are not worth two first round picks. The Lakers went to the Western Conference finals with this same team. The only team that stood in their way was Denver. Had the Lakers not met Denver in the first round last season they would of made a deep run
