I really like Daniel Greene had his face centered on the compilation. His summary videos practically the reason why I tried reading Wheel of Time and for that I cant thank him enough.

pipemorgan Hah, nope. There is a tangential connection, not no, that’s a pilot that was a trailer we threw together of a “cut” we did of this five year old Wheel of Time TV Pilot, that is totally unrelated to Amazon.

This was the worst thing ever. I remember seeing it years ago and being truly thankful they never made it. Its all about character name pronunciations. Just listening to Feists Magician on audible and Peter Royce is mutulating simple names like Liam. This is what will kill WoT immersion for me if they dont follow Kramers WoT pronunciations.

Interestingly when asked about the Reading/Kramer pronunciations Robert Jordan said that early on in Eye they shared emails back and forth but eventually they went their own way. With that said that means their pronunciations may not be canon.

@@FeroshFabLife i read about this also. I suppose a lot of it is cultural. For example the polish would pronounce Richard as Rhyzard. My issue with Royce is his pronunciations make no sense even considering cultural differences. William is pronounced William. Martin is pronounced Martin. Thomas is pronounced Toe-mas not Tom-as (Wtf). Liam is pronounced Lie-am not Lee-am (Ughhh). It just completely destroys immersion. Rand is Rand, not Ra-and. Mat is Mat not Ma-at and so forth.
