"Gears of War 3" is the spectacular conclusion to one of the most memorable and celebrated sagas in video games. Developed by Epic Games exclusively for Xbox 360, "Gears of War 3" plunges players into a harrowing tale of hope, survival and brotherhood.
In "Gears of War 3," players fight on as Marcus Fenix, the grizzled war hero and leader of Delta Squad. Eighteen months after the fall of the last human city in "Gears of War 2," the war against the Locust rages on, but a new enemy has emerged. Deep beneath the surface, a fearsome new threat, the Lambent, is infecting the planet from within. With survivors scattered and civilization in ruins, time is running out for Marcus and his comrades as they take up their Lancers to make one last push that will ultimately decide the fate of humanity.

I remember seeing this trailer and wanting this game so bad when I was 9 years old and my mom didn’t wanna get it for me so my dad snuck and got it for my birthday. I probably poured a few thousand hours into this game and I don’t regret one second of it

If you get an Xbox One (I'm sure they're pretty cheap nowadays) you could still play them since they were made backwards compatible if you have the disc copies. They are also all available digitally to download (Gears 1-5) if you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Gosh as someone who still plays Gears 3 MP I have to say the game changed ALOT since this video was released, for the better obviously. It's just fun to see all the little changes from how a character looks to how a reticle spreads. :)

@thecico12345 Bit harsh, Don't you think? Besides, My Xbox simply straight-out refused to connect to the internet, i tried wired connections, wireless connections, followed all the steps....it just wouldn't connect.

@TheGlucose Im pretty sure that was a regular COG just like the other carmines because you notice when Marcus runs up theres another one just like the one getting his arm ripped off, i think the C Carmine actually has tattoos to define him different.

@R1derlin first off clay uses a mulcher so its not possible for him to die, 2nd hes much bulkier and bigger so its not him plus he has some different armor

clay has a tattoo of his brothers who died in gears of war 1 and gears of war 2 and it has a chainsaw that says born to saw and that gear doesn't have those tattoos

WHOA how are they going to Anvil Gate? That's in Kashkur which was a neutral nation in the Pendulum Wars and I'm wondering how they get there? Ravens don't have enough fuel to fly from Vectes Naval Base to Kashkur

@lolaplolap1 hammer of dawns couldnt kill berserkers in 1 hit in the first 1 either u had to use it to weaken her armor plus this 1 is a lambet berserker a more armorered and powerful berserker
