In today's video, initially, Roberto responds to Chiriaco Summit, Ca to what we thought was just a simple winch out. Upon arrival, Roberto sees a fully loaded truck and trailer about to roll over with tires in the air! At this point, Roberto attempts to pull the unit but has no luck. He then calls Trent Jr in the rotator to assist and lift the trailer out of the ditch.

Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral.

Have you ever thought about a 360 degree camera on the top of your boom in jobs with the rotator? Would definitely result in cool shots and would certainly make it a bit easier for you since you can still edit the perspective in the post. And as always. Cool Video, Thumbs up.

15-20 years ago I was in Louisiana going down the 10 to Texas like a did a lot back then. The 10 was crap hundreds or miles of washboard so I would always get off and use the local road that was 50 mph. I stopped for the night in an abandoned gas station for the night that I've been to several times along with other drivers. It was raining really hard for a few days so the ground got water logged and gave way under the weight of my trailer completely sinking it into the ground. I was getting ready to sleep and heard a loud thud behind me when it happened. Took two heavy tow trucks to lift my trailer to get me out.

Very interesting video. All respect to you, your experience, and top-quality equipment. A question: On several occasions when getting into or out of the cab you pressed buttons on a display or box above the windscreen. What is that for?

I'm assuming the company pays for the tow if the driver works for them or he pays if he's hired by himself. I wonder if the company he might work for charges him for the tow or some sort of reprimand, just curious.

I love your videos, but the comments are always filled with could've, would've, and should've folks that must think everyone is born out the womb an experienced trucker. It gets annoying after while reading the same comments every video. We all make mistakes and life is one long learning process. No one seems to know these simple facts from your videos though, and it's real sad. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing what you do with us

Here you go sell all your rotators and buy a couple of these 4 x 4 tractors. How in the hell did they get that out of the ditch with that tractor and the little wheel lift. Speaking of the wheel lift unless the truck is running they can't pick it up. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nK-jZrCona6qloU.html
