Just picture that for a second, if it were you in that position. Would you like it if someone decided they were going to ride your back just to amuse others? Some are nasty, sure, but that's just because they get into it so much. Rodeo bulls live a life of encouragement and never experiencing defeat. Intimidation or mistreatment would be totally insane. Same with broncs...and I mean ditto...great food, medical care, exercise. Why don't you worry about their beef cattle cousins who are kept confined for the first 18 months just fed, no exercise, then butchered. It's like raising 12 year old kids for food. Or perhaps their dairy cousins being artificially inseminated so they can lactate and their newborn can become veal. I wonder if they still do the technique they did when I was a kid: kill the calf, eat it and stuff the skin and bring it back up to the mother's udders to initiate lactation.
