Train Sim World 2020 - Long Island Railroad - Express Train to New York

Time for yet another run on the Train Sim World - Long Island Railroad route. This time take over a Ronkonkoma to New York Penn service at Hicksville, 27 miles east of Penn station. The service is formed of 5 married pairs of LIRR M7 stock, making a 10 car train. The remaining stops on this run are Mineola, Jamaica, Woodside and Penn station.

I got so frustrated trying to start the train drove me nuts!!! But i got the hang of it the long island rail road train haven't tried the other trains.

@@DC4260Productions the controls in these trains. It's hard to understand where things are and it's not accurately easy to apply a certain amount of break pressure or acceleration. It's so hard to me

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but on PC with an XBox controller, you have to be pin-point accurate to change the controls and you spend so much time trying to line the cursor up, you run a red or something. I'd love to get into this game, but it's not working for me so far.

How do you charge the breaks It’s not working!?

You put the throttle/brake lever into the final notch before emergency, then press the 'charge brakes' button, which (I think) is under the brake gauge itself. Hold down the charge brakes button until the dial reaches 90psi on the gauge.

Charge is the green button on the left panel

Put reverser in forward position. Then putThe brakes in MAX setting to charge the brakes. Not emergency, but %100 then press the charge button on your controller or the green button on the panel to the left of the window.

@GSpar01 it’s a DLC so you have to buy it. You can get it off the Steam store or where ever you purchased TSW off of.

I hate so much that if you want to play realistic with no hud with this train you can’t because you always have to stand up to close and open doors. I hate this so much and you have to use the shortcut or you will lose time

Yes, I'm pretty sure the LIRR is included with the TSW2020 pack. It's also due to be ported over to the new Train Sim World 2, so I'd recommend waiting until that comes out instead of getting TSW2020.

D.T.G. are not the sort of people who like giving things out for free. So you'll have to pay for TSW2.

@@DC4260Productions ye i know but if i get tsw 2020 there are usually 3 main train companys that are for free to drive so if i get tsw2020 will 1 of the main trains be mta?
