Train Simulator 2017 | Grand Moff Tarka! | BR Class 150/2 (Moleman Live)

7 жыл бұрынI decided to stream again recently, and in light of the FGW Class 150/1 announcement, I decided to drive the Class 150/2! What you shall see, is the 150/2 in the Tarka Line reskin (link below), indeed, across the Tarka Line from Exeter Central to Barnstaple (again, link below). Let's do this! (I mean, I've already done it, but whatever) :P

Just scroll down until you reach 'Barnstaple to Exeter - by Devon Labuschagne' - you need the Riviera Line and the European Locos & Assets Pack for this route to work.

Please note, no default scenario with the route sees you drive the 150/2, I edited the scenario myself to achieve that.

Loved this livestream but i didn't get to see this scenario or the next one, i joined while you were loading up the scenario with the BR Blue Class 313 on the Backdated North London Line.

Looks like a cool line, will be sure to ride it some time. Will be looking forward to your livestreams PS: The full line is from Exmouth to Barnstaple (Exmouth is further south than Exeter if you haven't noticed)

FACT: the 150 doesn't have automatic announcements. It's normally done by the guard or driver

It's the next generation of Train Simulation, built from the ground up using the Unreal 4 engine. It has nothing to do with TS2017, entirely separate products.

So isn't Barnstaple on the old route of the Southern's Atlantic Coast Express? Where they tore up the line between it and a place called Bideford and made it a bike trail?

Ah good, I thought the name sounded familiar. Always gets me a little sad when I think about that line, it might've made a nice heritage railway. That's the real irony of the Beeching cuts, a lot what was cut could probably be put to new uses now (as railways instead of bike trails and the like). The preservation guys (bless 'em) even have managed to do what the bald-headed bureaucrat didn't even try to, make the little lines pay for themselves, even be a valued part of the local transport links for things like commuters and even revenue goods traffic.

First Capital Connect ceased to exist in September 2014 when FirstGroup failed to win the bid, instead, Govia won the newly formed 'Thameslink Southern & Great Northern (TSGN) Franchise', operating as 'Govia Thameslink Railway' and 'Great Northern'.

TS isn't the best for handling steep gradients in my opinion, probably done to smoothen the ride for the player. Of course, it could just be an error in the terrain files used, the quality, no matter what is chosen as a source, can be questionable and it is a free route after all :)

Those are two separate lines not a double track section. The line on the left goes to Okehampton. Whereas the line on the right goes to Barnstaple. They diverge at 38:37
