112,5 mph was very fast back then. Cool detail, thanks. Fastest land vehicle is usually around 394 mph by a non-rocket wheel driven engine on land I think.

I'd like to be a passenger back in those old days with this cool train interior, to sit in the comfortable seats, looking at the scenery as the train moves. Would be cool if more games offered a tour as a passenger too, in addition to driving the train. In TSW2, I get the train going and then sit as a passenger for awhile on free mode. Nice gameplay here for Train Simulator!

It was named 'Empire State Express' cuz it was the first passenger train to run between New York City and Albany: the longest scheduled nonstop run back then.
