You guys should be very proud of how well Emily and darin are doing with the farm it's amazing and great to see kids of their age doing so much for the farm they work very hard to help feed milk and other tasks around the farm congratulations on great job raising them

I have to tell you what I absolutely love when watching you. You children!! They will make wonderful parents themselves someday because they are learning so so much helping you take great care of these babies. I’m a farmers daughter. My dad is gone now , but I learned so much from taking care of little baby animals. Great job !

Great video, folks. Thank you! This demonstrates the intensive care given during the first weeks of life. The kid-checks, for feeding, health, weight gain, and developmental progress spells the difference between success and failure for all goats. This dedication is a labor of love. Well done!

Your idea for these videos being created to be informative was brilliant Derik’s explanation while you guys demonstrate is a great format. That little holding area, of the nusery, is brilliant. So much resourcefulness in you family Derek- “He’s got that ate too much look” so funny.

I just visited my newborn doeling today. We named her Surf. Mom is wave and sister is splash. The kids get switched over to pan feeding real quick.

Ms. Crystal, must commend you and your beautiful family for being wonderful Shepherds! Your hubby using the Shepherds’ Staff reminds me of “The Staff of Moses” Queen Elizabeth has in her library with all Earthly 🌎 Holy Relics! She also has this staff into a, Golden Rod of some type of Golden shaped Staff to place Moses Staff! Because our Sweet Sweet Savior Yeshua D Christos our Messiah is our All in All Shepherd of the Highest Order! My congratulations to you and your beautiful Family are very special to me and mostly YAHVEH is proud of your hard loving Work being Shepherds to His Sacred Goats and Lambs! My parents has a, small farm we’d been raised on and I’d often wondered why they’d never raised goats/sheep. They’d told me where they’d been raised no one raised any type of Sheep nor goats! So, you’re the first Shepherds I’ve ever heard of or seen any bidets! Thank you and my congratulations to you both! Love the Shepherds’ Staff! Your goats are beautiful especially, thes babies I’m so in loved with! My commendations to you Beautiful lady! God Bless!

Crystal I just learned more and more every time I watch your videos you have so much knowledge you need babies sounds like it's been a bad year for everybody I'm losing babies I lost one a lot of my friends on Goat lovers have lost babies I've even had some lose some from iron deficiency or something iodine deficiency something like that but I'm soon going to be retired and I can stay home with my baby so just keep the good stuff coming

I just love watching all the baby goats! I'd love to be able to play with them. It looks like your dogs must love milk (I assume that's what Dane is licking off the stand at the end of the video). My dogs will go crazy waiting for their portion of my leftover milk. I think it's their favorite treat! Apparently they aren't the only ones who like milk.

With the kids that won’t drink off a bottle put them on a doe on the stand and once they get feeding pull them off and put the teat in their mouth. It just makes them realize what the test is for. I haven’t had a kid or lamb that it hasn’t work for.

My sister says when a baby won't take the bottle when they are strong enough then she will skip a tube feeding so they get really hungry and at that point they will usually be more susceptible to take the bottle because they are really hungry..because after a few days of tube feeding they are use to that filling there little bellies and aren't use to sucking..

I watch @sheepishlyme and when Sandi has a lamb with wonky legs she bandages them with a paint roller cut in halves then uses vet tape and usually within a couple of days the leg heals up nicely..... just wanted to put that out there
