A couple weeks ago I filmed a training day in my life. I didn’t get to film much skating clips but the clips I did get were at the end of the day in Sam’s lesson on a Friday, so the energy is always fun.

Holly I absolutely loved the video, did a little bit to cheer me up for a moment. Despite being competitior 's you all looked like you were having fun together, or also perhaps it was because it was Friday. Very much enjoyed the music, it was refreshing and not over bearing. Heres a tip for your next vlogs, maybe try and balance the volume, ur voice is really soft & quiet so sometimes its hard to understand u. Great vlog tho

This is the first video I’m seeing so I don’t know if you said this before, but do you have any recommendations for a good pair of beginner skates? I’m a decent skater but I want to start skating more often and get better at it so I don’t want to rent skates anymore. I’d appreciate being pointed somewhere ♡

Hii I recommend that you don't buy skates online go to a nearby skate shop tell them your budget and that you are a beginner, and they will fit you into good pair of skates :)

I highly reccomend getting some beginner skates for your level. I personally reccomend Ridell skates, they were my beginner skates and the same brand I use now (I'm past beginner.) Definitely have someone with experience help you get a good pair of skates for your feet. Many skaters need to have custom fittings to their skates to avoid pain and get support when skating. Essentials for skating are a cloth to wipe off your skating blades after skating to prevent rusting, soakers to absorb extra moisture, skating guards to prevent dulling of your blades, skating nylon/socks, water, and remember to bring extra hairties! It's never fun skating with hair in your face :)

@@_jeanique There are many skaters out there that should be friendly and supportive! If you are skating alone, you can find it kinda refreshing too. It's kinda like a way of self love and to work individually with yourself. If you ever have any issues or any questions, always ask a coach and reccomendations from other skaters.
