For all of you who say "I learned nothing from this video", it's a chest FUNDAMENTAL video. Basically for those who are new to the basics. If you've been working out for a while now of course it's gonna do nothing for you lol.

I did not know that. I’m 315 reps of 6... but never knew doing all three gives you the complete chess I usually just stick with include and flat because I felt like incline is more taxing. Good stuff
@josepha.40723 жыл бұрын
Been a long time since I did decline which I used to do regularly. So I did decline dumbbells twice this week and the feeling of having that soreness all over both the inner and outer part of the pec feels great I'll have to keep doing declines again now😆
@yaseen6923 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much, sir. RESPECT from China. Just one quick question. Would really appreciate it if you break-down and clarify the grip and where the grip should be. You generally mentioned that in an incline bench press, the grip should be a little bit beyond shoulder width, but different gyms have different bar markings, and for novices like myself, it's hard to keep track.

Very informative and quick. I usually only do incline as it hits two groups. Plus I workout alone at home. So doing the decline is out of the question. If I had a spotter to hand off the weight to then yes. I'd love to try that. As some one commented before me...I too believe in the importance of doing flys or side laterals. An essential exercise in any workout plan IMHO. Especially if you aren't in a gym with access to cables. If I had the room I'd invest in a "cross cable" machine. So vital IMHO. And they aren't ridiculously expensive (for some). Ranging from $3000-$8000. Most are between $3000-4000.00 While I guess expensive for most it is an invaluable machine for any home gym. Often neglected in the average home gym. Probably only found in home gyms of "wealthier" people. Some might say...why not join a gym instead? :) I suppose it's a luxury machine. Interesting trainers are rarely muscular. :)

not wrapping the thumb around the bar could cause the bar to slip, this could happen so fast that the spotter has no time to grab the bar. extremely unsafe move, i never want to see someone do this in the gym.

It's a suicide grip mate very common on bench and over head press
@xTheBigBlue7 жыл бұрын
Yes or reverse grip or thumbless grip the terminology doesn't matter
@qnavone7 жыл бұрын
if you feel comfortable with the bar and the weight "thumbless" grip is much better...you don't put stress in your thumbs and helps concentrate on the movement itself...press not grab..its not the safest but its by far the best way to go if you are ok with the weight..my opinion

Nathan Lyttle so where can i find your instructional videos online???? Oh, nowhere!!! When were you a competing IFBB pro....oh, never! When did you ever train the likes of Dexter Jackson, Flex Wheeler, or Dwayne 'the rock' Johson.....oh, again, never! I guess Charles Glass may know just a little more than you then! Flyes are also for later when you actually have built some chest mass and as an isolation movement. This video was mainly for beginners to show proper form.
