Filmed on 06/04/2023. Well, Spring time is now arriving and with the clocks now gone forwards, we now have an hours extra day time hours. With the first of 4 for Freight-Tastic Day along the East Midlands. Staring with at our regular playground of the city of true grit and steel. Yes, its is one of the main terminus stations along the Midland Mainline of Sheffield. (Season 10 Episode 7)
Quite a few changes has been made since the December timetable changes. Transpennine Express are trying their best to run hourly train services between Cleethorpes and Liverpool Lime Street. But, some trains are cancelled due to shortage of train crews so trains would finish their journey at Sheffield. Also, a Nova 3 set is also diagram for South Pennines Route as well as North East Routes to and from Scarborough and Cleethorpes.
Northern is bought back their hourly train services linking Sheffield to Adwick via Doncaster and Rotherham Central which is now worked by either a class 150 or 158 units. The daily Northern services between York and Sheffield are also back in action worked by class 150 units with few rare diagrams for a class 158. Also, the Northern class 150/0 3 carriage units are now based at Neville Hill/Huddersfield working on Leeds/Huddersfield to Sheffield diagrams with Sunday diagrams between Huddersfield and Lincoln Central.
Oddly for Cross Country Trains, their trains has been rather shorted formed to say the least with just a single Voyager unit workings. The Cross Country HST's are also short formed now to 6 coaches as its heard they are due to be withdrawn in the later stages of the year.

It looked that way yes. Found it odd when it was announced as 6 carriages but its a sad sign that these HST's are getting withdrawn.

@@RickyNowis October 2023 for XC HST withdrawals and December 2023 for GWR Castle HST withdrawals 😧🫣😞 No decent, comfortable passenger train left to ride on when they go 😞🫣 The Great British world beating High Speed Train 🫣🇬🇧 Just Scotland will be left running them as passenger trains after this year 😞🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@@ejc7129 It is a bit shame really as these are the best ironic trains that hit the rails in the 1970's. It's amazing how they lasted and went soo strong until now. True, Scotland will be the only ones to with the ScotRail InterCity7 sets.

@@RickyNowis The HST design concept was years ahead of its time with modular engine room construction, making for far easier and quicker maintenance. Drivers and passengers loved them plus they were a huge step up in ride quality over the MKI and MKII coaches in the 1970’s. The HST was a true saviour of Britain’s railways because if it wasn’t for the success of the HST, the Thatcher Government of the time was looking to reduce some Inter-City routes and services further at the end of the 1970’s 😧🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I for one will be sorry to see them go 😞😪

Always popular along the Midland Mainline. If your interested these are the current diagrams for them: Sheffield/Nottingham to London ST Pancras International Lincoln Central to London ST Pancras International In the past prior for the Lincoln Christmas Market, the 222 Meridians would run additional and special services to and from Nottingham & Derby.

@@arnoldspottingvideos5269 Gosh, the fleet in terms of mixed for EMR is getting smaller. I hope the future for the 222 Meridians and the 180 Adelante's are for the best :-)
