In the diesel multiple units, nearly 2 locos are opening in push-pull mode and pulling hardly 7-8 passenger coaches. I wonder if those driving units are very underpowered.

It’s a Class 88 - They also have a small Diesel engine onboard for ‘last mile’ movements away from the OHLE.

So that we can slow down the life by saving transportation time. Otherwise, if transport will be slow, then rest of the life will have to be even faster due to lost time in transport.
