Today alone I've lost more lives from friendly fire on Veld than the Tyranids have taken

I play by myself and have to hope that people will come and join. It's nothing more information than someone comes in and joins and then I guess if I'm not playing to their standards or something they just decide to leave instead of helping me complete the mission. Or we complete one mission and then I have another one to go in order to get medals and liberate the planet. But they dip out as soon as we get back from the last mission

I typically just join randoms and do a mission or two then dip out. But I'll keep this in mind when I'm starting my own operations. Though sometimes if I only had time for one mission when I come back with more time the op I was in is gone.

I dont have this problem because i dont play the game (i dont have a ps5 nor pc) but you will see A LOT of this happening in games like PvZ GW2. for one reason or another these guys join in, then leave for no reason, which is annoying when it happens, but i know for certain that itsnot always because the player wanted to. This however is the worst, i dont get why would you do this, but if i get this right, the developers should add that you loose all rewards if you leave before the current mission is over.

This has been debunked by the devs themselves. Abandoning operations doesn't hurt the war effort. Failing operations, does.

this whole "based dev" mentality will backfire and when it does, it will sour player's experience, let us play the game however we want, your servers kept acting up, we rarely made it through the whole campaign without disconnecting and losing the operation, dont force us to play for hours to trying to finish the whole op, if you dont value and respect our time then i wont respect your game and play something eles, i am in no obligation to uphold some arbitrary and fictional values and conduct, im here to play a stupid video game if anyone hasn't realised it yet, the devs are GM, they can change the outcome to whatever they please, if they want super earth to get invaded next week they will just click a button to make that happen, it's pointless, it isnt our fault that we lost Creek, it was the dev's fault by not giving us enough weapons, content and ways to counter the robots, it wasn't fun and nobody should play something that isn't fun, if you just wanna suffer, get a real job
