To be completely honest, as ridiculous as it sounds, I’d rather see Konrad’s soul stone shenanigans resolved and him returned first before Lorgar even thinks about leaving the Warp. With Horus long dead, Lorgar, Kor Phaeron, and Erebus are the last people alive who we can say directly caused the Heresy. Because of that, they’ve always felt like the final boss faction to me.

I think GW will drop each Primarch as soon as they feel like they can get away with it, lore-wise and market-wise. I think Perturabo is more likely to come after Fulgrim due to his part in Vashtorr's plans.

I'd be all for a Lorgar return if it means the next loyalist return is Corax.

I think that after the "Plague War" series, I would have put my money on Lorgar given all of the references to him. However, with the Vashtorr story line and the Perterabo reference in the "End and the Death III", I think we're going to see a Daemon Primarch of Vashtorr show up first.

As a huge Alpha Legion fan, I hope they keep Omegon's fate a mystery. Half the fun with Alpha Legion is the not knowing. Maybe if Omegon's return sparked a Alpha Legion Civil War, that could be interesting.

I think Curze coming back is the least likely only for the reason being that GW just don't know how to use him as a character. His character has always just been kind of an idea, not really a fully fleshed out character.

I want omegon and Alpharius both to be alive have a alpha legion civil war since by the end of the war Alphi was fully back on the loyalist side seemingly by all the available evidence and it would be easy to have them not dead and have the canon of the other books be fine since the alpha legion power is to give a legionnaire blood and they turn into their primarch

Konrad Kurze (and Sanguinius, Ferrus Manus and Alpharius) being dead shouldn't be that much of a problem. We know Fabious Bile can clone primarchs and that those clones have (part of) the soul of the original. It's going to be much easier to bring them back then it will be to bring back Leman Russ, Rogal Dorn, or Jaghatai Khan. For the dead ones we only need an excuse to resurrect them, for the missing ones we need to explain what they've been up the past 10 millennia.

If I don't get to have the greatest Primarch of all time, the only one to kill three primarchs in one lazy afternoon, the only one who understood while 17 brothers of his just didn;t get it.... the only one who had the best novels, the best 1st captain and the only one that was so badass that the only person who could kill him was himself... well, its just not 30k-40k without konrad.

Dude, imagine how awesome Konrad's crown would be if his soul is in it? How cool would it be that if you wore the crown, you could tap into the Night Haunter's foresight? Or commune with Konrad's soul in the stone. You are slowly infected by Konrad's madness until he takes you over completely until they become a mini Night Haunter and have to be killed.

All depends on what GW is planning, overall. Personally, I'd be bringing back Omegon next. I would be bringing him back with updated Xenos information - possibly even with Xenos units within the Alpha Legion. Kind of a two-for for the Tabletop - new Alpha Legion models and new Xenos models that can be played with Alpha Legion. (I'd probably also sell the Omegon model in two variants - a mirror image - but not explicitly call either of them Alpharius. You can only use one on the Tabletop at one time, but many players would buy two just 'cuz yeah, that's Alpharius. Also given how close we are to having 3d printing entirely upend the GW business model, the sooner they can get double the sales for a Primarch model, the better.) I would also double-up, somewhat, on the Codex to bring in quite a bit of Xenos information. In the Lore, I would lean in on Omegon faking his death then moving through Xeno territories, looking for information about the Cabal, their history, their technology, trying to trace back as much of that as possible to use for himself - and for Humanity. NOT the Imperium. (That would be one of the few big changes to the Alpha Legion I'd be bringing in - the Alpha Legion unites under Omegon and swear allegiance to defending Humanity. Traitors to the Imperium, Traitors to the Emperor, but NOT to Humanity.) Omegon found something in his search, and it led him to believe now is the time for him to reveal himself and take concrete actions. I would have him be taking action on a large number of Imperial planets that looks, at face value, to have the usual "Chaos attacks humanity, yawn." pattern, but then I would have a few oddities - there doesn't seem to be any attempt to destroy or destabilize many of these planets, more than a few times, the Alpha Legion gets noticed by locals and Loyalist Astartes become far more alert with no other actions by the Alpha Legion being noted... and on some noteworthy occasions, the Alpha Legion are directly thwarted by the Word Bearers. And it's not like the Alpha Legion and Word Bearers are fighting over the planet, directly - it really looks like the Word Bearers are trying to stop the Alpha Legion from doing... something... on each planet. Which causes no end of trouble for the Imperium because they have no idea what the hell is going on because the Alpha Legion always leaves the planet, regardless of whether or not they beat the Word Bearers. Most of the time no one can tell what they even did. WTF is the Alpha Legion up to? No one knows. No one has any idea... except Guilliman. Who is one of the few beings in the galaxy to recognize that ALL of the Alpha Legion target planets are planets the Word Bearers brought into Compliance BEFORE Monarchia. I'd be using this as a way to bring the Word Bearers back into setting next. Lorgar has spent 10,000 years working on a ritual of some sort, that Kor Phearon and Erebus laid the initial groundwork for, that requires the planets the Word Bearers brought into Compliance. The Alpha Legion - damn their traitorous souls, say everyone on BOTH sides - have forced Lorgar's hand, and now he has to muster the entirety of the Word Bearers Legion to protect these planets from the Alpha Legion. And now Guilliman and the Ultramarines, who have been stationed on many of these planets because Guilliman ("I have neither the time nor the manpower for this shit, ARGH - why couldn't this have happened in... never is too much to ask for, but perhaps 10 more years? Would this waiting 10 more years be too much to ask? Yes? Yes... dammit.") can see the pattern, but has no idea what is actually going on. He's just stationing Astartes on planets and really hoping that they can deal with whatever is coming for long enough that Guilliman can get an appropriate amount of forces out there to deal with it when whatever "it" is actually happens. (oh, and by the way, a massive Iron Warrior fleet just invaded a particular human world no one had ever heard of before, encased the entire world in iron - literally - and then left. For some reason you can't get to the entire star system via the Warp anymore, you just end up somewhere else when you try to exit. No muss, no fuss, no tricks or traps, you just end up at a random location when you exit the warp there. but no one knows about it because Alpha Legion activity on other planets caused forces from this planet to be sent elsewhere, and reinforcements didn't arrive in time...)

Clone Falgrim comes back at same time as trator one. That be a fun story to see.

A group of inquisitors ally with the eldari to enact the starchild ritual, capturing one of the emperors biological sons, with the intent of resurrecting the emperor by placing his soul in the body of his son. During the ritual, the nightlords attack, disrupting the ritual at the last moment, placing Konrads soul stone on the intert body of the starchild. Rather than the emperors soul, Kurze's soul moves into the body. Welcome back primarch.

I am still in the Omegon is Cypher camp. But I would not be surprised if Logar admits to Guillemin that either way he wins, either Chaos is triumphant or the EoM becomes a god, either way he was right.

It would be really funny if lorgar came back in 40k timeline and was just still a dude, given that he was the first to devote themselves to chaos and accept its powers while everyone else was corrupted and mutated. Hes just his typical scrawny self but hes got so many baubles with powerful demons in them that he can hold his own now.

My money would be on Perturabo so long as Dorn is not the loyalist Primarch that comes back. So far they've largely had traitors meeting loyalists they're not especially close to. Bobby G with Magnus and Morty,Lion with Angeon. Lorgar has too much beef with Guilliman to not have that be a key bit. Alpharius was ostensibly killed by Guilliman at one point I think but he's also not characterful enough I think.

Lorgar will be last, facilitating Corax's return. Purturabo as the next traitor after Fulgrim works on the other hand because of Vashtorr and their agreements, as it allows GW to give him a Patron. They may even "change" it so that when Purturabo sacrificed the IF Prognoids during and after the Iron Cage, they weren't sacrificed to the pantheon like we (and maybe Purturabo himself) thought but actually Vashtorr. Meaning five patroned brothers and Lorgar the slut.

Sanguinius and Curze make no sense coming back, as they were. Sure, put the Angel's in the Sanguinor, or give a power boost to the NL wearing the crown. Ferrus, I could see as a construct, but not the real Ferrus, as his body was ripped to shreds for trophies, and his head is completely bone. What interests me is if Alpharius/Omegon finds the other half of their shared soul and does a DBZ combining of them, turning him from the smallest Primarch into a near-size match for Vulkan.

That Lorgar Guilliman conversation would be heartbreaking. Guilliman seeing what his brother has become after him and his legion following his father's orders at Monarchia. Guilliman now having read the lectitio, and having seen how faith makes miracles happen, up to and including living saints manifesting. All he could really tell Lorgar is that he was right all along. I imagine that the rage this would set off in Lorgar would be apocalyptic to say the least. Depending how much you subscribe to the Emperor orchestrating his own acension to godhood, Lorgar would be the ultimate fool in all of this, being played and gaslit by every single god or godlike entity. If 40k ever does go with an endtimes scenario then it would be such poetic justice if Lorgar is the one to smash the golden throne to bits, facilitating his father's apotheosis.

Sevatar would be a way better return,or even Decimus over Conrad. Omegon would just be boring and have no goal.
