If you are getting better quality (mind without editing just output of phone)at the cost of megapixels.........but not necessarily saying this for s24 ultra which I'd also agree that they haven't done proper implementation of ai enhancement

thats called AI assisted upscaling. This is the era of computational photography, where advanced post image processing algorithms have made it possible for the tiny cameras present in mobile phones to give similar results to dedicated apsc cameras with huge sensors in good lighting

I sometimes feel whether the difference is actually that much or the brands have told the KZfaqrs to show it that way. Because its just one generation apart and the difference is quite a lot and when s23 ultra launched the zoom pics were actually pretty good but now even at 3x 10x the words aren't visible that clearly. I am sure this wasn't the case last year.

Samsung improves their camera with update but they also silently downgrade their last gen phone to make their new gen camera look better . I got a s23 ultra that has December update and my friend has a s23ultra bought in june and never updated once . When we were taking zoomed photos mine looked very low quality while his photos looked like something out of a dslr . I will never download any update after 6 months after release. It's all part of planned obsolescence

@@Xrl8r this i have seen happening with my s23. Bought brand new the phone was amazing. After 6 months just prior to release of s24 series they messed up the camera with noise and poor detailing like that of a mid range phone

That's not the update, it's the snapdragon cpu Being overheat, The samme issue Happend to My HUAWEI P50 pro sd888, when i play Game it didn't overheat, When i take to many photo it will Be hot Then after many photos, when i take photo again The Quality is Trash, That's The snapdragon issue, This issue Never Happend To HUAWEIs own Kirin cpu, And now i have the HUAWEI P60 pro Sd8+gen1 and i Don't have the issue so far i tested, HUAWEI Knew they Had to Fix it in next Mate and p series, But samsung maybe Fixed it on s24 series maybe.

I just don't get it!!! Before a newer version would release , they would be like omg s23 ultra is the best phone with the best pictures, and suddenly after s24 release people are like omg samsung improved so much!!! Literally the same thing happened with iphone 15 series launch after full year of 14pro being the best camera !! this really is opposite with my result that I tested at the shop. S24U is really bad when zooming in more than 30x. The optical zoom 10x on S23U is absolutely better when zooming in more than 10x.

Samsung is doing bad software updates to make it's new camera look better than last year's, us one reason. Optical zoom in s23 Ultra is better than the digital 5x zoom on the S24 Ultra. Another KZfaqr showed this when doing the s24 ultra vs the iPhone 15 pro max camera.

This actually depends upon cameraman who is taking photo because sometimes photos get blur in my s23 ultra but sometimes the photo look exactly the same clicked by s24 ultra.

I think you turned off the AI for S23 ultra but you kept the AI turned on for S24 Ultra.. S23 ultra has AI processing so letters should be a little clearer when zoomed to 30x

I have both and the 100x zoom is better in s23 ultra as it engages the 10x prime lens instead of the 5x prime lens in s24 ultra. However I relaised the results can also vary based on conditions and s24 enhances the photos in s24 series. The text is always better read however rest of the picture smudges
