I have a 2007 Subaru Forester with a 50mm lift kit. The lift-kit is a high-quality, heavy-duty kit including trailing arm spacers. Because I like to take car of my car, I bought all 4 new CV axles that were advertised as specifically for lifted vehicles: Trakmotive 'Heavy-Duty, Extended Travel" CVs. I installed them in December of 2021 and have driven less than 5000km on them. On a highway trip of 400 miles recently, they started making noise and causing my transmission to buck. I removed them to find that the inner bearings were already seized on both front ones. One of them had the boot blown completely off by heat. Needless to say, I'm not impressed.
