The tavistock should have been tracking all of these children into adulthood as the norm. They shouldn't have required external funding in a research grant.

"More and more young people are questioning their gender" - Why? Why the increase? Even if social acceptance is growing and more people dare to "come out", shouldn't the overall figure be more or less constant?

This isn’t a “new area of medicine”, though, is it? Gender reassignment surgery has been done since the 1950s. Transgender people have always existed.

I am a Trans-man, and I am 19 years old. I think that kids can socially transition at whatever age. However, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and Gender affirmation surgeries should be completely banned for anyone under the age of 18+. Adults can make the decision to transition medically if they want and need to.

Iud hormone blockers are reversible, I have an iud so I know. Iuds help some trans people deal with their dysphoria. I am a trans - man. Therapy should be given to see if the patient is suffering Gender Dysphoria which I call Sex Dysphoria before doing any treatment. Also I encourage trans kids to look into non medical ways to transition.

I have a friend who always liked to draw attention. She always wanted to be the center of attention and she loves that people stare at her. Yes, now she is a transgender and she believes she is something special. She is very good to me and I always respected her decision but inside of me I don't find her being sincere.

When someone says their child is "trans" is the same like hearing a dog owner saying their dog is vegan. We all know who´s really making the decisions.

No, there are not more and more people questioning their gender...they have been given a voice, so we are now hearing from them.

That doesn't mean the desire is gone. Now, I believe that the more we learn about what people who identify as transgender are experiencing, the better their care will become. It doesn't matter whether or not you're in support of transitioning genders; to be educated will help prevent horrible things from happening to people, and also will save many so much pain in becoming who they want to be.

These kids have so little to worry about they create problems, like wanting to be somthing you 100% are not and will never be. Do you think children who grow up in war torn countries or places with lack of food food water think about changing sex? No they want to survive, help those who can't help themselves. But kids in these countries have nothing to fight or work for, so they create this fight to be something else. I'm not saying you should start wars or starve them, but they need things to aim for, like 1st place in a competition. When you give everyone a medal for 1st and last place and everything in-between they have nothing to aspire to, no reason to train, to learn, to get better, because they think they are already at the top. Competition is good for kids, losing gives them drive to try harder, winning gives them satisfaction that they are better than people who challenge them. When you have nothing to aim or fight for you create things and problems that do not exist.
