Driving to Hudson Bay and Caniapiscau Reservoir
via Trans-Taiga road in Quebec.
This is the most remote place you can reach by car in North America.
Trans-Taiga is the northernmost road in Eastern North America.
It is 666 km long road, 2000 km north of Montreal.
In the end you are 745 km away from the nearest town.

Even the black bears are nice in Canada. He jumped on the car door and decided no claws. That bear was best

La route Transtaïga est vraiment magnifique, le Nord du Québec est vraiment une région à découvrir, les paysages sont incroyable, j'imagine qu'il ne faut pas manquer de pétrole sur cette route...

i will go there in 2 weeks! I have already done the Trans-Labrador Highwayroad 3 times... but with covid, i can get out of Québec so I will go to the Trans-Taiga this year! Seems awesome!

Very awesome. I've been planning a trip up here for years. Honestly, the unknown was my drive but the unknown also took away my inspiration. Fuel, food, carrying weapons into Canada from the US, the locals if they would be welcoming etc... Your video has inspired me to revisit my dream of exploring all the way to the end of Trans Tiaga then continue onto Chicaniapiscau all the way through Brisay to Caniapiscau.

From my experience the locals are very friendly to tourists. All native people speak english despite living in Quebec. And it is definitely a petter idea to go to Canada without weapons:)

Great video. I'm not sure it's the remote place you can go in North America. The Dempster Highway to Inuvik qualifies also in my opinion.

The thing is that the road is not leading to the settlement, you are 666 km away from the nearest town (by road)

The Trans Taiga needs to be extended to Fermont or Labrador City, same with Highway 138 from Kegashka to Blanc Sablon.

Thank you for sharing! Breathtakingly beautiful. What was at the end of the road if it leads to the most remote place there? And how do you fuel up if there's nothing out there? And why was there a road if there's nothing there? Is it just for driving?

The hydro Quebec dams are connected by this road, so in the end there is a lady dam. I had 200 liters (50 gallons) of fuel in the canister cans with me.

I did not know dalton hwy is 666. Well the Transtaiga is a bit shorter. 666 km is to the nearest gas station in Raddison

@@elliottkingdom I saw bears every day while I was there. There are plenty of spots for free camping, some even have the utilities. I have a bed set up in my van. I whet there to see the area and shoot landscapes.

Out of curiosity, I thought that drones relied on cellular service in order to navigate. How did you manage to control it that far north? Maybe it runs on megahertz frequencies?

They don't use cellular service to navigate luckily :) I use mine in very remote areas with no service, they function like a remote control helicopter or something in the days of RC cars but they are far more advanced now and have a memory card and camera on the drone to capture.
